"so, what's the issue of coming here?" doyoung asked keiko who is sitting in front of him.keiko's brows cocked, feeling a little bit offended with doyoung's question. how she wanted to tell him he is stupid. "well, i just wanted to hang out with you. like old times, is it wrong?"
her voice quivered a bit, making doyoung sat up straight once he realized he was being a tinge of sour with her. damn, his disease is slowly altering him into someone else. he needs to get a grip on his own self.
"i'm sorry. i was harsh back there. i'm... just surprised that you knew my address. you're lucky i'm at home, if not, you'll be standing outside for hours" he apologizes, earning a tiny smile from keiko. keiko misses his voice. she really wanted to be by doyoung's side. like she said, 'like the old times'
on the other hand, doyoung was trying his best , not to let the pain overpowered him. the pain on his chest was uncomfortable, trying to drown him in every possible way.
as he endured the pain, under the table where he and keiko was sitting and talking, scratches was visible on his thigh, made by his self. however, he didn't want keiko to notice it though.
"it's alright. i think it's my fault too for not telling you since this is the first time i came to your house. but after this, i'll just crash to your house alright? even though you might be busy anyways. look" she waved a small key that manages to make doyoung put all of his focus on her.
he quickly looked to his cabinet, to see his extra key was missing. "still sly as ever adashino" he smirked a little, knowing his best friend had a characteristics of a fox. curious, sly, dangerous and beautiful.
those words are enough to tell how she is.
he smiled and lean back on his chair, savoring the sweet but awkward moment. he hadn't seen keiko properly for three years and he still doesn't know what to do."dodo ah? do you have anything to watch? maybe like any movies? i could make us some snacks while waiting for you to set it up. don't make this situation awkward as f tho" keiko get up as she feels the air around is getting tenser. she doesn't like it, she just miss her best friend.
for three years being drowned with loneliness, she wasn't going to let go of this chance that she had.
"ye-yeah, sureeee. so, i had this movie called ready player one so i'll just open it up. you can go and make anything from the things i had in my kitchen" he said and made his way to the television to set up the movie. then, he took some of his blankets and pillows for them to crash on the sofa in front of the television.
on the other side, keiko was ransacking doyoung's cupboard to search things that they can eat while watching the movie.
she found cornflakes and chocolate chips and decided that both of them could be a good match. topped them with chocolate syrup that doyoung had in his fridge, untouched.
she brings three bowls to the coffee table in front of the television and asked doyoung to bring the drinks, which is plain water and iced lemon tea.
and they're all set now.
"alright, we're settled now. both of them make their way to the sofa that is in front of them television. before sitting, they both stand still and looked at each other.
"um.. can we cuddle doyoung? i miss cuddling with you, remember we used to cuddle every friday night when we had movie night.." keiko pleaded him, making his heart glowed with a tinge of pink, slowly easing the pain.
"yeah. we can.. after all, we're comfortable like that right?" he said as he sit on the sofa, motioning his arms like a big hug, waiting for keiko to snuggle in.
she giggled, "thanks doyoung" she sat beside doyoung and shift closer to him, inside his arms.
she pulled a blanket and cover themselves using it while doyoung played the movie.
"you had no idea how i missed doing this with you" keiko said as she put her head on doyoung's broad chest.
"yeah, me too"
