I'm not a perfect girl,
My hair doesn't always stay in place.
I'm not a book, don't judge me,
Don't make me hide my face.
I'm the girl who's been on her own,
I'm the girl who's been left alone.
I'm the girl who needs to make things better,
I'm the girl who's the whitest half-Mexican, ever.
I've lost more than won,
I've turned but never spun.
I'm the one you couldn't see,
I'm that guy, and that guy's me.
