▍ ITwas weird at first but every day jimin fell in love with the idea of falling in love. It was unpredictable and crazy but he loved it.
Jimin and Yoongi push their bikes over the small bridge that leads them back to the neighbourhood, its quiet but peaceful, a warm breeze rushing past them, tousling their hair and the tips of their cheeks and noses are rosy from the cold.
They had been riding their bikes over cracking sidewalks and under watery sunshine that struggled past the clouds. They made several rounds of their block, how many neither of them can recall.
Jimin admires everything about the elder, the way his raven hair blows in the wind, tousling it to his gummy smile and pretty brown eyes.
Their first day of school wasn't much, they took the bus to school together just to pick up their schedule that day, met up with their friends and grabbed some food from the coffee shop and went on their way. They took their bikes and strode around the neighbourhood, talking about the classes and teachers they have this semester, they caught up. This was the first summer they never saw each other, Jimin went on vacation for two weeks and he tried contacting Yoongi but the older was away, at his father's this summer and he lived back in Daegu.
When they reunited again, Jimin had tackled him in a hug, Yoongi hugging him just as tight with a breathy laugh.
"So what did I miss?"
"I met someone," Yoongi shrugs nonchalantly, hands pushing his bike forward. Jimin pauses, eyes widening, shocked and disappointed. He feels jealous, protective over his friend... his crush. How stupid of him to catch feelings for him but he's a sucker for love.
"Oh...is it serious?"
"No, not really, I have her number, it was just some fling but..." Yoongi says, biting his lip, "we kind of had sex and it wasn't really what I expected really," he babbles on and jimin feels his heartache, he hated the idea of Yoongi seeing someone, kissing another.
