Sira pushed those thoughts away as she made her way to where the other trainees were. Her crystal pelt made her look radiant. Two small groups were standing in the clearing of the town. Dyghem's group was on the left, and Sira's considerable-friends were on the right. She turned toward the right and began walking toward Mallow. Dyghem saw her and jumped in surprise. Flame and Midnight were surprise to see Dyghem so happy. Dyghem hugged Sira as hard as he could. Sira could hardly breathe.
"Ohh. I thought that the Sky Oak swallowed you up! Never thought you make it back! I was so worried about you!", screamed Dyghem.
Sira gasped for air as he let her go. She turns to him and scanned him. She was worried about him. Had he hit himself on a boulder or tree? thought Sira.
"Umm. Are you okay? Did you hit yourself on a rock or something? Why are you worried about me? You hardly ever notice me, much less talk to me.", said Sira.
Dyghem was staring at her worriedly. He hadn't talk to her, but always seem so interested in her. Was it her pelt or the way she was? Dyghem wasn't sure how to respond to her. He quickly searches for the correct words, but nothing occurred. Sira gave him one last look before she spread her wings and rose up with great speed. Mallow followed her into where both of their mentors were. Doldrurth and Adieu were sitting in a sunny patch of sunlight while they shared a piece of fresh-kill. Sira moved to where her mentor was, Doldrurth. She was excited to prove her mentor she was ready to become a full-fled dragoness. Her mentor looks up from where he was eating. He stared at her surprise to see her early, too early to be exact. Doldrurth stand up and made his way toward the young trainee. He touched his scarred muzzle toward Sira's. They flew toward the Sycamore cliff, where Sira usually is. The forest was thick there and the canopy leaves created a small barrier, so that sunlight didn't penetrate the path.
Sira had to finish her assessment. Hunting was the first one on the list. Her hunting skills weren't the best compared to others, but at least they were decent. She stalked the hard undergrowth. Her ears were pricked, listening to any noise that they could pick up. Sira stopped and for a moment she saw a small winged animal scurrying away into the safety of the undergrowth. She pounced on it killing it with her sharp claws. Sira picked it up and placed it in a place where the basilisks wouldn't reach it.
A black figure appeared out of nowhere, blocking her path. It growled like the basilisks but moved as quick and smooth as an aura. These was a new type of creature. Sira's horns glowed purple as magic arose. A purple light met the creature, but the creature moved fast enough to miss it. The creature launched itself toward Sira, but her mentor Doldrurth, came crashing toward the creature. It shrieks in pain as Doldrurth attacked it with his bare teeth. Sira breathe fire and let a small purple fireball which ended the creature life. Sira was out of breath. She had never seen a creature like the one that attacked her. But it was clear something was going on more than in the forest. The Silver Eastcastle might have similar problems as in Ayndirth, the town Sira lived in. Black smoke rose from the creature as it disappeared from view. Sira thought and thought from the way back. Was these a hint that Sira needed to understand that terrible times were about to come? Did it all had to do with her parents?
Sira could hear murmurs about the incident with the creature. She had been called to the chief's throne several times to explain how the creature look like and how it moved. Dyghem's little group approached her from behind. Dyghem was on the lead. She was still annoyed by the incident of the morning. Sira turned around and stared at them before turning back to her friends. She was still annoyed by the fact that Dyghem was interested in her. Dyghem sent a silent stare to his friends to go away, which they did. Dyghem came closer to Sira, he wasn't confident how he used to be. Sira turned around and stared at him. She gave him a question look, and Dyghem started to talk.
