Sira woke up really early. Sira was excited. Her time had come to become a trainee. Sira padded out from the orphanage. Sunlight bathe Sira on her back. The day was perfect for the upcoming ceremony. Bracken made his way toward the Great Rock. Clear Water walked behind Sira and Mallow with her head straight up. They padded toward the center of the clearing. All eyes stared at them. Another huge dragon walked toward Sira and Mallow. Behind the dragon, two small dragonesses came along. Bracken signaled with his tail and waited for the noise to die down.

"All kinds of dragons, small or big, old and young, dragoness or dragon, gather for a meeting beneath the great rock.", said Bracken, "Today is a great day. Five of our youngsters will become trainees, today. I hope that this day will be special for these four dragonesses."

All of the four dragonesses padded toward the Great Rock. A pale-yellow dragoness was the first to receive her traineeship.

"Flame. Do you comprehend the importance of being a trainee?"

"I do."

"Then by the power of the Sky Oak, I grant you your traineeship. I hope that you learn all of the battle and hunting techniques that your mentor teaches you."

Flame rose her head high in the sky. She saw her father, staring at her with warm eyes. She climbs down and padded toward the rest of the trainees. A beautiful blue color dragoness padded toward Bracken. Midnight, a beautiful blue dragoness, receive her traineeship and went with Flame. It was Mallow's turned. She gazed down onto the crowd. Sira could tell the Mallow was excited. At last, she receives her traineeship. Another dragon padded toward the Great Rock. The dragon's skin was pitch black. Bracken gave him traineeship. A pale blue dragon with a white underbelly and two blue stripes across tail and arms padded toward the Great Rock.

"Ocean. From this day and on, you will mentor Dyghem. Please pass all that you have learned to Dyghem.", said Bracken.

It was Sira's turn. Her crystal pelt shone yellow. The light that came from her pelt illuminated the clearing. Every dragon stared in awe. Bracken, on the other hand, was calm.

"Sira. Do you comprehend the importance of being a trainee?"

"I do."

"Then by the power of the Sky Oak, I grant you your traineeship. I hope that you learn all of the battle and hunting techniques that your mentor teaches you."

Sira padded toward the rest of the trainees. She sat next to Mallow, who was still excited. Some dragons greeted the new trainees. Bracken made his way toward the group. On his back, two dragons made their way toward the trainees. The group was confused. There were four trainees and only two dragons to show them the skills. Sira and Mallow looked at each other.

"Midnight. Flame. Your father has asked me if he could train you. I said yes. Now go.", said Bracken, "Doldrurth and Adieu come here."

A dark grey dragon and a white dragoness stood next to Bracken.

"Choose one Doldrurth, Adieu, you do the same."

Doldrurth looked from one dragoness to the other one. He chooses Sira and Adieu chooses Mallow. They touched muzzles and began their training.

"First, we will show you the forest. Then where, we full-fleds, sleep. The elder's den. But first, let's go to the forest.", said Doldrurth.

The group left the clearing and followed Duluth toward the edge of the forest. Doldrurth walked to a small path that leads further into the forest. Sira saw all kinds of trees and bushes. A small noise came from one of the bushes Sira had smelled.
