AUTHORS NOTE
So this was written for phoebe-durm who requested this with the dialogues 1). “What do you mean “maybe”? It was a yes or no question!” and
12).“You're not listening to anything, your headphones are unplugged.” I hope you enjoy it.

You had just got home from work hoping to have a nice relaxing night in front of the TV. You had been doing really long days recently and just wanted to do nothing all evening.
This was the plan until you walked through the door and saw your boyfriend of 2 years, Mick Schumacher, sat on the sofa with a controller in his hand playing video games.
You greeted him as you walked past to get to the kitchen him just ignoring you choosing shouting at the screen instead.
You cursed when you got to the kitchen seeing plates on the side and everything looking a mess.
Sighing you started to clean it up, slowly working your way through as your feet were killing you. You started by washing the dishes that were left on the side before washing down the sides to make it look cleanish.
You grabbed a snack bar from the cupboard quickly eating it before joining Mick on the sofa.
He looked up as he felt you sit down next to him, smiling at you before asking how your day was.
You started to tell him, mentioning the amount of work you had to do and moaning about some of the people you had to work with.
You were interrupted by Mick shouting at the screen again, him having become more engrossed in his game then you.
“Are you even listening to a word I'm saying?”
“Maybe.”
“What do you mean “maybe”? It was a yes or no question!”
You were getting a bit angry now, Mick sensing it as he finally paused his game looking at you.
“What's wrong with you?” he asked his voice full of concern.
“I'm just fed up with coming home from work and having to clean or tidy up after you and then when you ask me a question you just ignore the answer. Honestly sometimes it feels like you would rather be by yourself. I mean when was the last time you did anything romantic for me.”
You were almost in tears now. You sort of knew you should just leave it alone but after the stress from work you just wanted a relaxing evening with your boyfriend.
Mick stood up and stormed off. Not even bothering to say a word to you or to try and prove you wrong.

You was laid out on the sofa playing a game on your phone when Mick finally came back downstairs an hour later, both of you having finally calmed down.
When he finally reached the sofa he put his hand on your shoulder trying to get your attention.
You quickly put your headphones in before turning to face him giving him your most blank expression.
He started talking to you telling you how sorry he was while you just pretended you couldn't hear him.
He looked down before grabbing your headphone wire, “You're not listening to anything, your headphones are unplugged.”
You laughed a little at his facial expression.
“I guess I know how that feels now,” Mick said laughing a little as well.
“Look I really am sorry. I didn't realise that was how you felt. I'll try to be a better boyfriend from now on. I promise.”
He came over and cuddled up to you on the sofa giving you little kisses all over your face as he made you tell him everything that happened at work.
