I hope you enjoy it.

You struggled out of bed and looked at your belly. Your hands stroking the massive baby bump.
“Not long now,” you whispered to your belly.
Charles put his arms around you smiling at you as you both looked at the bump. You were grateful for this when a sharp pain ran through you making you lose balance a little.
“Ouch that one hurt,” you said laughing a little when the pain had gone away.
Charles looked at you in concern not exactly sure what to do.
Once you had got your balance back you looked at yourself your legs feeling a bit wet. That's when you noticed the wet patches on your leggings.
Another contraction hit as you realised what was happening.
“Its time Charles,” was all you said before everything seemed to move at lightning speed.
He helped you down the stairs, grabbing your bag from by the door before heading to the car and to the hospital.
You had to wait a while before you got seen by the doctor as you were still in the early stages of childbirth but when you did you were glad to be sat somewhere comfy.
It didn't feel like long after that you were being taken to the delivery room.
“Breathe, in and out. That's it just breathe. In and out. In and out. In and out,” Charles was saying over and over.
“If you say that one more time, you'll hope for death,” you said. You know he meant well but you couldn't help but be pissed off.
You grabbed his hand squeezing it as you pushed.

A couple of hours later you were bought back to your room absolutely shattered. They had gone to wash your baby as you were took back to the room you were in before hand.
Charles kissed your head as you slumped back on your bed, wanting to do nothing.
You felt something land on your head and looked up to see tears in your husbands eyes.
“Awe your crying that's so sweet.”
“I'm not crying it's just dusty in here, stop looking at me.”
You could feel tears starting to form in your eyes t the sight of him looking so sweet and innocent so you had to look away, glancing at the door just as the Nurse came in with your little baby wrapped in a towel for warmth.
You looked at him in awe. Still not quite believing that he had come from you.
“Have you thought of a name for him yet?”
Without hesitation you looked at Charles, smiled and both of you said, “Jules.”
