Car Crash Part 2 - Mitch Evans

"Hey Mitch I heard what happened," Antonio Felix Da Costa said running up to him and hugging him.
"I'm so sorry. Is everything ok? Are you ok?" Daniel Abt added also hugging Mitch.
"I'm alright but then I wasn't the one hit by the car," Mitch said leaning into the hugs not realising just how much he needed it.
"How's (y/n) doing?" Antonio asked at the same time as Daniel asked, "What happened?"
"She's doing better. She's in the garage talking to James while I'm here. Her leg broke so it's in a cast which she thinks is quite cool and her ribs are a bit sore still and I think she's still a bit shaken up but she won't say anything to me about it. She did say that when she's fully healed she's gonna have to ease herself back into driving. It's really rattled her," Mitch said a few tears falling.
He wiped them away as he took a deep breath before explaining that you were on your way to pick up Mitch from the airport when someone ran a red light while you was pulling out of a junction. They hit you head on completely wrecking your car due to their speed.
Mitch went on to explain how your legs got stuck under the dash in the crash and how your head had whacked against the side of the car after hitting the air bag making you unconscious. It had taken them ages to free you from the car due to the amount of damage.
He then explained how the worst part was when your heart stopped in the hospital. How it had happened a few times and how each time he thought he'd lost you. How he didn't want to lose you.
He then told them how all this made me realise just how much he loved you and how much he needed you in his life now.
Daniel and Antonio both awed as they made their way off the truck after the drivers parade and back to the garages.
Even though they were supposed to be getting ready for the race they both invited themselves to the Jaguar garage and as soon as they saw you they pulled you into a hug being careful not to hurt your ribs and as they did they told you they were glad you were ok. You tried to hug them back but your crutches got in the way making it impossible. Mitch grabbed hold of your waist to steady you as you sorted your crutches out while Antonio and Daniel slowly pulled away from the hug.
Mitch kept his arm around your waist as you all went for a slow walk out the back of the garages to get away from everyone staring at you.
You had known all three of them for the longest time so you felt comfortable around each other. You had always told each other everything yet you could tell all three of them were hiding something big time. You didn't know how to bring it up but you really wanted to know what it was they were keeping.
You headed back not long before race time and Mitch took you to the room where some of the team sat so you could sit and watch the race but weren't in the way of the the car changes.
Through out pretty much the whole of the E-Prix you were on the edge of your seat as Mitch was in a close battle for the win against Jean-Eric Vegne and Sam Bird.
Mitch managed to to have a quick car change to get out in front of Jev so know he was in second. Mitch kept getting closer to Sam and having learnt from Rome was doing well to not use so much energy going for an overtake where there wasn't that much of a gap. Mitch threw it around the outside of the Hairpin trying a really daring move and managed to pull it off to get in front of Sam and into the lead. He kept opening the gap a little to help him keep the lead scoring not only his first win in Formula E but Jaguars first Formula E win and it was the first time they'd actually stood on the podium as well.
To say Mitch was excited was an understatement he was screaming down the radio to his team thanking them for a great car.
The team were jumping up and down and highfiving each other before coming over to you and pull it you into a group hug with them.
When all the cars had made it into the pit lane you and the team made your way to the podium for the trophey celebration.
When James headed up to the stage as the team principal he dragged you on with him and helped you up onto the stage so you could celebrate Mitch's win with him.
Then they called the drivers up to the podium. After a strong fight Jev came third and Sam came second both giving you a hug as they made their way to the podium. Mitch came running down towards the podium making sure to high five as many fans as possible. He hugged the team and one of them have him the New Zealand flag which he showed off when he got onto the stage. Mitch then went and hugged everyone on the stage before hugging you and giving you a little kiss.
After the anthem was played and the trophies were given out, Jev and Sam both ran spraying the champagne everywhere while Mitch walked over to you pulling you into a hug before going down on one knee.
James gave him a ring box which he opened as he said, "(Y/F/N) I love you so much and everything that has happened in the past few weeks has made me realise just how much it would kill me if you weren't in my life anymore. I really need you in my life. Now and forever. So will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"
"Yes Mitch, you soppy idiot," You said nodding your head and blinking away the tears as you had started tearing up at what he said knowing there was nothing else you wanted more in the world.
There was a massive round of applause as he put the ring on your finger and kissed you before picking you up and spinning you around.
Thats when Sam and Jev poured champagne over your heads. Mitch put you down both of you screaming a little bit mainly laughing. Mitch went to grab his champagne and sprayed it all over his team then turned it on you and James.
If it hadn't of been for the massive grin on his face and the look in his eyes you would have swung one of your crutches at him.
Mitch pulled you in for another hug as the team came up on the stage everyone joining the hug. When you pulled apart Mitch kept an arm around your waist and you all got ready to take the team photo.
Mitch didn't let go off you for the rest of the day. He even carried you off to the media pen when he was supposed to be his media duties giving you a piggy back so you would still be close to him.
Everybody who saw you came up to you and was congratulating Mitch and you.
It was safe to say this weekend was the best of both of your lives. You even spent the rest of your time in Zurich side by side as Mitch didn't want to let out of his sight.

I feel like this is crap but here's Part Two of Car Crash. Hope you like it. I didn't know whether to have her die or live. So I thought I'd make it a happy ending. So here it is. Hope you liked it.
