Tom was waiting impatiently for Harry. He wasn't pleased that the two others would be here, too, but he had ways of keeping them quiet. From what Harry has said, it seems like they can keep a secret pretty well. Still, did he trust them? "If Harry trusts them, then so should I," Tom told himself quietly.

From a far distance, he heard three "Oomphs," and new it was Harry and his friends. Tom took a deep breath, waiting for the right time to tell him his idea.

"Hey, Tom!" Harry smiled as they entered the room. His friends we both pale and didn't say anything. Especially the red headed one. The girl was looking around like she was trying to figure out where the were.

"Hello, Harry and crew," Tom smiled back, only looking at Harry.

"So what did you need?" Harry asked, ignoring his friends. They were trying to pull him away, but he only walked toward him and sat on the giant throne like they always do when he comes here.

"I want you. . ." Tom whispered the rest in Harry's ear. Harry's eyes widened in the request, but nodded still.

"Are you sure?" It was Tom's turn to nodded. Harry sighed, "Okay, I'll figure something out. Durmstrang and Beaxubaton will be here in the morning, we can sneak you in as an exchange student from somewhere."

"That may work, but wouldn't Dumbledore know I am?" Tom pointed out.

"Probably," Harry admitted, "but we could say you're from the school in the United States. That way it doesn't cause commotion."

"Why aren't you in Slytherin?" Tom asked, amused at the cunning idea.

"Was supposed to be," Harry shrugged. Before Tom could question further, a cough filled the room. They looked down to see that Hermione had been the source.

"You're Tom Riddle," her mouth stayed open for a long while as she processed what she had said. "Why do you trust him, Harry?"

"He's my friend," Harry shrugged, nonchalantly.

"But he's You-Know-Who," Ron shuddered.

Tom shook his head, "I'm the Voldemort from the past. Before he-I?-turned evil. I assure you I'm nothing like him. And if I remember correctly, you two said that you can keep a secret." Somehow, the two got even paler at the threatening tone leaving Tom's mouth. He seemed satisfied with the reaction and turned toward Harry. "Until tomorrow, then."
