The Hogwarts Express pulled into Kings Cross Station, but Harry couldn't focus on his happiness to see his Godfathers and Tom. Instead, his mind was occupied on the conversation he had just recently had with Malfoy.

The door to where Hermione, Ron, and Harry had opened and the trio turned to see Malfoy standing there. "Can I borrow you, Potter, for a minute?" he asked. Ron sent Harry a quick, skeptical glance. Harry nodded and followed the blond toward the back of the train where less people were. The two walked into an empty compartment.

"So what did you need?" Harry asked, sitting down.

Draco was silent for a minute, wondering if he should really tell him. He took a deep breath in and nodded inwardly to himself. "There's a vanishing cabinet in the Room of Requirements," Draco began explaining. "It's going to be used to let death eaters into Hogwarts. From what I know we can't stop it. I... I may be a reason for that."

Harry looked Draco up and down. "There has to be a way to stop it," Harry said, beginning to panic. "We can't just sit back and let Dumbledore die!"

"Potter," Draco barked, "there are so many charms on the cabinet that you'd never be able to make a dent in discharming them. You'd only get hurt in the end."

There was a long moment of silence. "Fine," Harry sighed. "But if you think for even a second I'm not going to attempt to murder ever death eater who comes, then you're so wrong."

"I wouldn't expect anything less from you."

A hand waving in front of his face, bringing him from his thoughts. He shook his head slightly and locked eyes with Remus. "C'mon Cub," he smiled, bringing Harry in for a hug. "The other two are still at home. Couldn't risk being out in the open."

When they got home, Harry opened the door, only for his eyes to be covered. The owner of the hand over his eyes led him further into the house. A door opened and Harry walked through the doorway. "Okay, here he is," the voice, obviously belonging to Sirius, called out.

He felt familiar hands grab his own and Sirius dropped the hand from his eyes. Harry found himself face to face with Tom. "Hey, Love," he smiled down. "I have a little something planned." With that, Tom pulled him into the room.

A large cake sat in the middle of the room on a table. Tom handed him a precut slice and watched as Harry stuck his fork in to take the first bit.

Tom watched as Harry's fork hit something metal. He watched as Harry glanced up at him curiously before searching for what he had hit.

"What the fuck, Tom?" Harry asked, almost angrily. "I'm only 16!" Tom began laughing, only making Harry angrier.

"Don't worry, silly," Tom rolled his eyes. "It's not an engagement ring. It's a promise ring. Not something we did when I was growing up, but your muggle born friend, Hermione, brought the idea up to me. Saying how I should do something special. Blah, blah, blah. Someday we'll have a stronger marriage because of this."

Harry giggled at the way Tom explained. "Well, do I get to hear your promises?"

"What?" Tom asked confused. "The girl only said that it was to signify future marriage."

"Yeah, by making promises to keep our relationship strong," Harry explained.

Tom thought for a moment. "Well then, Harry," he began, snatching the ring from in between Harry's fingers. "I promise to marry you when you're out of Hogwarts."

"That's it?" Harry asked. Tom nodded. "Well, then I guess I'll forgive you since Hermione didn't explain very well. But I accept your promise."

Tom kissed Harry, who in returned smiled against his lips.

"Aww, that's adorable," they heard from behind them. Remus and Sirius were standing there with smiles on their faces.

The rest of the evening consisted of Sirius planning their wedding because "God dammit Harry, if Lily can't be here then I'm gonna be the best mom who has even attended a wedding." And Remus reminding him that they had well over a year to plan and not everything had to be done that night.

"Your godparents are crazier about our future wedding than most parents," Tom chuckled.

"Yeah, but I love them," Harry smiled, wanting to stay in this night forever.

Here's an update, I guess.
But I'm not going to be updating this story as often as I used to because this story is coming to a close in less than 10 chapters and I'm not ready to end it so quickly.
