Chapter 21

Elizabeth p.o.v

"Dude are you ok?" I said to Matthew as he seemed to be shaking. He looked around for a second then leaned in whispering into my ear "Master Chase threatened me this morning." He said making me gasp "What!" He quickly shushed me looking around again before continuing "I was in the kitchen making breakfast for myself when he came downstairs. He didn't say much to me, all he did was grab a baby bottle out the fridge and put it in the microwave and then stood there like he was lost in his thoughts which I didn't want to disrupt." He said as I nodded "Once the bottle was done I thought he was gonna grab it and leave but next thing I know I'm being held up against the wall by the devil himself. I asked him Master Chase what are you doing? And he said Don't you ever come near Love ever again! She's mine and if I ever see you touch her again I will beat you within an inch of your life. By now I'm basically begging him not to murder me then all of a sudden he just drops me, grabs he bottle and the plate of waffles he had made and walked away." He said "Holy shit, do you think Love has something to do with this?" I asked "Obviously since he mentioned her, but I don't think she's the one who wants me to stop talking to her." "Yea if she didn't want to talk to you she'd say it to your face." I said and he nodded in agreement "Yea Love-" "I heard my name." Matthew jumped at the sound of Love's voice and he immediately hid behind me pushing me towards her "Liz what's wrong with Mattie?"  "Oh don't worry about him it's nothing but I'm curious about where you were last night." I said smirking as I saw a blush start to form on her cheeks

"Now that I think about it why is your collar up like that?" I reached for the collar on her uniform but she slapped my hand away. By now Matthew was standing next to me also curious about the way Love was dressed. "Love I'm your bestfriend are you really going to hide this from me?" I said "Yea and I'm your guy bestfriend" Mat said joining in She shook her head then took in a deep breath. Slowly she pulled down her collar and our jaws dropped. Her neck was littered in hickeys. "WHAT THE FUCK" I screamed earning unwanted attention from the other maids and butlers. Love grabbed our hands and dragged us upstairs with me still screaming "I'M GONNA KILL HIM!" She shoved us into her room blocking the door "Look guys it just all happened so fast and-" "YOU GUYS HAD SEX?!" Mat screamed She quickly tried to shush us but Mat and I were already fired up. Matthew picked up Love throwing her over his shoulder and we both marched our way to Master Chase's room. I kicked open his door and we spotted him sitting on his bed with a baby who was happily playing with his fingers. He looked up and we made eye contact. "What's going on?" He said standing up only in his boxers. "I'm about to go to jail that's what's going on." I said and he scoffed but then he looked past me and his whole face turned red. I looked at Matthew who was glaring at him while Love still struggled in his hold "Didn't I tell you not to go near her pipsqueak!" In the blink of an eye they were in each other faces "Do you wanna go bro!? This butler can throw down and these cufflinks will come off!" Chase laughed "You weren't saying that this morning!" "GUYS STOP! Matthew put me down!" Matthew did as he was told and let Love down. Once she got herself together she glared at all of us "If you guys would let me speak you would know that Chase and I DIDN'T have sex last night-" "It was this morning" Chase said earning a slap from Love "No it wasn't this morning either we haven't had sex yet" "YET"

Chase was now sitting on the bed holding his bruised cheeks as Love was explaining the situation to us again for the one thousandth time. "Chase wants us to be together but I'm not sure if we should-." "Those hickeys are telling me different." I said Love sighed in frustration  "Look guys if Chase and I do end up together I need you two to support me." "We do support you we just don't support him!" Mat said and I nodded "Love I was here before you do you know how many maids he's slept with before you came? He's a man hoe and he won't change" Chase marched over to us and wrapped his arms around Love's waist making her gasp "First of all I so too can change! I just need you guys to give me a chance and let me love her. She's different from all theses other girls and even though I was a dick to her in the beginning she's letting me prove myself now. It might take awhile but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get her to trust me." There was a moment of silence before anyone spoke. Love's eyes darted between us waiting for us to speak until Mat sighed "Well...he's got my vote." Love smiled  and cheered as Chase smirked then they all looked at me "What?" "Liz you're my bestfriend, my ride or die, my lock and key. I need you to approve of this relationship because I want you to join me in my journey with him. Please give him a chance." I sighed and rolled my eyes giving it a thought for awhile. The tension was thick as they waited for my answer. I groaned "Fine bitch." They all cheered and we laughed as Love gave a quick kiss to Chase earning her a lustful look "Wait guys Love still needs to answer." "What?" "You said you needed time to think about and I think you've had enough time-" "It's only been a couple of hours." "Anyways like I was saying now it's up to you to make the final decision." Chase spun her around holding her close to him "Love Knight will you be my girlfriend?" She blushed "Um I-I still need to think about." "Uh Uh I know you did not just make that whole I want you on my journey scene just to tell him you need to think about. Girl if you don't say yes I will beat you myself." Love laughed and rolled her eyes. She looked up at Chase her blush still evident on her face "Yes Chase Valentine I will be your girlfriend." We all yelled and cheered as they kissed more intensely this time "What the hell is going on in here?" We all stopped and turned towards the loud booming voice to see Master Valentine. "Hi dad."
