"YOU'RE REALLY going aren't you?" kaci frowned, glancing at everything sprawled along luna's bed right around her suitcase.

luna nodded, feeling tears spring into her eyes, but refusing to let them go. she'd been holding in her tears long enough, why was it suddenly so hard?

truth was, luna played everything off as though she kept her cool, which was not the case at all. almost every night she'd want to crawl into bed and cry from the mass hate she'd been receiving. why'd taylor hill have to be such a dramatic?

besides the drama taylor was creating in the moment, luna had been reminded of the two years of drama that taylor had put her through. being in the rumour mill every two seconds was the opposite of what luna thought was fun.

in ninth grade, the biggest rumour was: luna marie had sex with jason telencoe!

in tenth, it was: luna marie got plastic surgery!

in reality, it was just the first year luna decided to wear makeup.

in eleventh, the rumour was: luna marie started smoking pot.

and finally, twelfth, and worst of all: luna marie ditches friends and cheated on conner reid.

okay, maybe twelfth wasn't the worst rumour, but everyone certainly took it a lot harder than luna smoking pot. not that she did that, or any of the rumours on that list. they were called rumours for a reason.

the truth was that luna was still a virgin, never got plastic surgery, had never tried drugs, and most certainly didn't cheat on conner.

luna broke up with conner numerous times, almost all ended with the same result of conner telling her she'd never find someone better. conner saying that taylor set them up, it was practically a cupid match! and many more lies.

luna thought taylor knew what conner did, and was still certain that was the case.

not only did he convince her that he was the only one she'd ever be able to have (and that she was lucky he stayed), he also—

"luna?" kaci probed, raising a skeptical eyebrow. "are you okay? you zoned out."

luna shook her head. "i'm fine. and yes, i'm going."

"we want you to stay, though." kaci argued.

luna tossed more clothing into her suitcase, ignoring her twin sister. "where are the other girls?"

"the boys' house,
"apparently daniel went to hangout with taylor?" kaci grimaced, rolling her eyes as taylor's name rolled off her tongue.

luna continued throwing things in, without even folding them or giving the items a second glance. luna was adamant on leaving as soon as she could so she didn't have to listen to anyone else beg her not to.

"cool," luna nodded, not even bothered to smile.

"i haven't seen you happy in days. what will it take?"

"being away from taylor." a shiver was sent down luna's spine just saying the name of the stone cold bitch.

kaci narrowed her eyes pointedly. "besides that. eben, mom and i want you to stay."

"well grandma, grandpa and i want me to go back to canada."

"if grandma and grandpa knew the situation and understood technology, they'd tell you to face your problems, too!"

luna shook her head once again. "i'm going. thats final."
