Yoongi ♡ Arcade Date

Dating an idol had its ups and downs and a break in their busy schedule was one of the ups. Yoongi, your boyfriend, just happened to have a three day free period in his otherwise booked schedule and he wanted to take advantage of that.

Presently, the both of you were seated on the couch together watching TV in Yoongi's lavish apartment, a rerun of some new drama airing again for those that might've missed it.
"Where do you wanna go?" Your boyfriend asked, his arm draped lazily over your shoulders.
"I don't know." You sighed. "You wanna go somewhere today?"
"Yeah. I wanna take you somewhere fun." He softly kissed your cheek, letting his lips linger there as he continued. "It's been a while since we've been on a proper date. You pick."
You sat in silence, mulling over his words, asking yourself where it was you wanted to go. Where would be a fun date destination?
"How about the arcade?" Yoongi offered up a suggestion after some consideration.
"Ooh the arcade!" You grinned, responding enthusiastically to his suggestion. "That sounds like a lot of fun. I'm up for it."
"Let's go then. Right now." He retracted his arm and got to his feet.
Pushing yourself off the sofa, you shuffled to the bedroom, changing into some nicer clothes and taking a few minutes to apply a little makeup, just enough to where you were satisfied with your appearance.

In Yoongi's vehicle, he turned on his liked songs playlist, letting the music fill the space around you. The apartment got smaller in the rearview mirror as he drove away from it and through the entrance gates. The car rolled to a stop at the end of the stone-paved driveway, Yoongi looking left and right down the highway, singing softly under his breath as he pulled onto the road.
"Can you sing a little louder?" You asked him.
He smiled softly and complied with your simple and soft-spoken request.
A smile settled across your features at the sound of your boyfriend's gentle singing. He was an astounding rapper, but his singing skills were just as good, though rarely heard in his songs. True to your high opinions on him and his talents, the song playing in the cat transitioned to a rap verse and Yoongi followed along flawlessly. Your attention was drawn to him like a magnet, watching the way his face twitched and his mouth moved as the words flowed out.
"Wow."
Yoongi spared a brief glance over at you, chuckling breathily. "What?"
"You never cease to amaze me."
The tips of his ears tinted a dusty pink hue as he mumbled a tiny thank you.

The drive to the arcade was filled with music and your boyfriend's incredible voice. During some songs you even joined in, not doing nearly as well as he was, but having fun nonetheless. It did make you feel better when he started his loud "bad singing" where he belted out lyrics without trying to sound good. He often sang that way when doing karaoke with the BTS boys, loving to get a few laughs out of them.

Arriving at your destination, the both of you headed inside, a cacophony of dozens of games being played at once ringing throughout the large arcade.
The first stop was a token machine so you'd both have the proper currency to play games. On top was a stack of cheap clear plastic cups for the coins. You watched as Yoongi slid the highest dollar amount in, gathering the gold tokens that came clattering out before putting another bill into the machine. He continued this until he'd used five and that's when you spoke up.
"Yoongi, that's too much!" You spoke over the ruckus of all the arcade games.
"I want us to have plenty of tokens." He had separated enough for each of you to have a cup full of coins, handing you one of them.
"Which one should we play first?" Yoongi asked looking around the area at all the flashy games placed about.
"Air hockey."
He grinned. "You're just dying to lose, aren't you?"
"Excuse me, I'm the air hockey champ in this relationship."
"We'll see about that, sweetheart."
