Jac's P.o.v

"See you all tomorrow class, just remember, got any questions for ms Tadford ask now as it's her last day today." I point to ms Tadford as I'm taking to the class.

"It's been a pleasure everyone, hope you enjoy the rest of the year, good luck for the future. You've got a great teacher" she looks at me and grins.

I smile back and casually look at Esmeralda.

She looks sad again.

I know she's upset about me having to go on a date with ms Tadford, I am too. I'd much rather go out with Esme.

I find myself just staring at her. Her beautiful long dark hair, her chocolate brown eyes that sparkle. She's just so beautiful.

"Can we go now?" Someone shouts and breaks me from my thoughts.

I flick my head away from her.

"Uh- yeah uh sorry. You're dismissed" I cough and see Esme smiling.

I can't help but smile myself.

Everyone leaves the class.

"So what time you picking me up?" Ms Tadford smirks at me.

" oh I was just thinking we'd meet there?" I sit down at my desk and sign off my computer.

"What type of date is that?" She scoffs her nose up.

"We only planned to go for coffee. Maybe we shouldn't go" I say whilst standing up and pushing my chair under the desk.

"No I'm sorry, I'll meet you there, the corner diner?" She smiles at me and puts her bag over her shoulder.

"Okay." I say bluntly.

"Meet you there at 5?" She walks over to me and brushes her hand down my arm. "Here's my number. Text me when you're there"

"Okay, got to go. Bye" I say whilst hurrying out the door.

I grab my phone and quickly text Esme.

👨🏻‍💻 Jac: " hey Esme, off out at 5 with her. She's given me her number to text her when I'm there but once that's over with I'll get rid of it ASAP. I'm really sorry about this Xxx"
👩🏻‍💻 Esme: "no worries, it's not your fault. Thank you for telling me. Ngl I hope you have a crap time:) xxx
👨🏻‍💻Jac: "don't worry I will babe:) I'll come pick you up and we'll go get McDonald's or something yeah? Xxx"
👩🏻‍💻Esme: "sounds good:) can't wait!xxx"
👨🏻‍💻Jac: "I'll text you when I get there and when I'm leaving. I'll miss you:*xxx"
👩🏻‍💻Esme: "I'll miss you too:*xxx"
👨🏻‍💻Jac: "I love you Xxxx"
👩🏻‍💻Esme: "I love you Also Xxxx"

I smile and start up my car. I happily drive home and get ready.

I'm happy to see Esme but I'm not happy to be going out with Ms Tadford.
