When I woke up the next morning everything felt different. I was in different clothes. I was wearing navy blue skinny jeans with a rip right above the knee. I was wearing black converse and a gray sweatshirt that a Pepsi logo on it. I was still in my bedroom.

I got up to brush my hair and teeth. Then I looked out the window. " Still Tulsa.." I mumbled.

I went to the living room and yelled for my mother. I even yelled her full name and nick name. " Mother! Mom! Cherry! Sherri Valance!" I yelled. I didn't hear a thing. Then I realized something, this looked nothing like my house. It was old and dusty and cobwebby. For the record, I'm terrified of spiders.

I ran out the door, and started freaking out. I didn't know where I was nor did I know where my mother was. I ran to the nearest newspaper stand. I picked up the newspaper and it read August 28, 1964. My eyes opened real big. I couldn't believe where I was. " This is heavy." I mumbled to my self.

I started to think while walking. How did I end up hear? Should I take advantage of this? Wait, if I'm in 1964, then shouldn't my mom be a teenager? so many questions rolled through my head.

I looked up to see where I was. I was in front of a movie theater. they seemed to be playing Gone With the Wind and it only cost a quarter. I searched my pockets for some change. Before I found anything, a kid wearing old blue jeans and a leather jacket and some converse walked by me. Must be a greaser I thought. Then I looked down at my clothes and realized I looked like a greaser. I actually didn't mind. I was comfortable in my old clothes. I usually wore this kind of stuff anyway.

When I found a quarter, I got a ticket and went inside. I sat in the back so no one see me. I was a pretty shy person, plus it was the best view. When I sat there hoping that no one would sit next to me, of course, someone sat next to me. He looked pretty shy too. He had very dark pretty long not too bad hair, almost red. He had Grayish-greenish eyes that would sparkle. He was wearing a navy blue light jacket, with blue jeans and a pair of canvas converse. He looked at me and he was so cute. He must've been a greaser by the clothes he was wearing, but therefore I looked like one too. I looked away. I looked to much like my mother and he might know her.

After the movie was over I got up and headed for the door. Of course my luck, I tripped and fell on my shoe lace, but before I hit the ground someone caught me. my eyes were closed shut. Whoever it was, brought me to my feet. I opened my eyes then my heart stopped and dropped to my stomach. It was the boy form the movie house who sat next to me. " Are you okay?" he asked looking at me the same way I was looking at him. " I'm okay." I said a little shaky. " Glad you are. I'm Ponyboy Curtis." he said so beautifully. " Peyton Valance." I told him back. " You a greaser?" he asked. " N.. Yeah." I didn't know what else to say. I definitely didn't look like a Soc. I looked like a greaser. I guess I was one. " Cool. I'm one too. You like movies?" he asked swiftly. I told him yeah I did. " I also like books." I told him. " Me too. Well I better get going. Nice seeing you around Peyton." " You too, Ponyboy."

After he left I felt like a greaser and I also thought.. I'm in love with a greaser.
