Seraphina Almarrion was a queen, a Khalessi. She was The Mother of Dragons, The Unburnt, The Breaker of Chains...The last Almarrion. She promised to Liberate the world. She was unbeatable and a force to be reckoned with.
She promised her people she would make the world a better place in their own image, start fresh and have the freedom to do what they wanted. And she did. Yet enemies were still on the rise and more than one tempted their fate to get their hands on the blood of The Unburnt.
They all failed but not without casualties from both parties. Fights became a war and with the war became the Extinction of the Dragons.
In the mist of the war a witch who had foreseen the future knew Seraphina was destined for a greater cause and that the war couldn't be the last anyone heard of the woman. She had seen the prophecy.
There would be a protector, one who was unmatched by all. She would be the one to protect the child born of three, they would be the savior to the entire supernatural world.
This is how the legend of Seraphina, the mother of dragons began. A powerful witch had put a spell over Seraphina to sleep until the time came when she was needed, her Dragons had sacrificed themselves in the process and over the centuries she was passed down by witches who know little of what her awakening would mean.
Along the way she ended up in New Orleans with the ancestral witches and for centuries gets passed down from witch to witch. Over the years she ends up getting forgotten and was placed into a tomb, everyone believing her to be a myth.
Then upon the birth of Hope Andrea Mikaelson, Seraphina Almarrion rose from her long overdue slumber with one thought in her mind...protect Hope Mikaelson.
Soooo I finally have brought this book back!! Hopefully this time I'll have more inspiration to finish it...
