Peter was nervous. After years of begging, he had finally convinced his dads to let him go to high school, instead of being home schooled. Not too mention, he had finally mastered his powers and knew not to use them in public. At least, not when he wasn't wearing his suit.

Peter glanced at his schedule and started heading toward his first class. He bit his lip. First thing he had was English in Room 109.

As Peter tried to look for Room 109, he began to feel overwhelmed by all the people that walked past him, not too mention the fact that most of the guys were taller than him.

All of a sudden, Peter was pushed to the ground, his backpack splitting open as he fell, his stuff spilling all over the floor. Peter cursed under his breath, scrambling to get his stuff.

"Hey, you're the new kid,  right?"

Peter looked up to see a blonde dude looking at him with bluish grey eyes. Peter couldn't help but find that he was very attractive. Peter nodded.

"I'm Wade Wilson. Sorry, about this. I wasn't paying attention. What's your name?" Wade asked, handing Peter his books.

Peter blushed as he took his books from Wade. "I'm Peter Parker." Peter answered.

Wade smiled. "What class do you have?"

Peter stuffed his books back into his backpack, and allowed Wade to help him to his feet. "English in room 109."

"I was just on my way there. Follow me." Wade said.

Shouldering his backpack, Peter followed Wade.

"Let me see your schedule." Wade said.

Peter handed it to him and Wade examined it, muttering to himself.

"We have math, science, english, and lunch together." Wade said.

"Really? What are your electives?" Peter asked.

"Gym and Sign Language." Wade answered.

"Sign Language? Why did you chose that?" Peter asked.

"You never know when it might come in handy." Wade replied. "It's just as handy as Spanish, but as not as well known."

"Is it hard?" Peter asked.

Wade shrugged. "Sort of. You just have to have a lot of patience. And as long as you don't have a problem with it being completely silent."

Peter laughed at that, causing Wade to smile and look at him. "You got a cute laugh, Peter."

Peter blushed and looked at the ground.

"Ah, here we are, English, Room 109, which is taught by a really crabby teacher, Mrs. Babcock. Don't expect her to smile very much." Wade muttered to Peter.

Peter looked at the mostly empty desks. There was no other teacher there.

"Where do you sit?" Peter asked.

"In the back." Wade answered, walking to a seat in the corner farthest from the door, right next to the window.

Not knowing what else to do, Peter decided to sit in the seat next to him. A few minutes after they sat down, Mrs. Babcock came in. She was an older teacher, she looked like she was in her fifties, with red rimmed glasses, and grey hair in a bun. Her face and  hands were wrinkled, and she seemed to have a permanent scowl on her face.

"Wade Wilson, get your feet off that desk right now!" Mrs. Babcock screeched.

Wade put his feet back down on the floor. "See what I mean?" He said, whispering conspiratorially to Peter.

Peter smiled. "Maybe she just doesn't like you."

"Nah, she's like that with everyone. Also loves to give out homework." Wade replied.

"We'll see about that." Peter replied.

"So, where do you live?" Peter asked, heading on his way out of the school with Wade.

"I don't really have a place yet. My parents are dead, I'm not going to stay at an orphanage or foster home." Wade answered.

Peter looked at Wade sadly.

"Why not? You could get hurt, living on the street by yourself." Peter said.

Wade smiled, matching Peter's gaze. "You don't need to worry about me, Petey. I'm used to it. Besides, there are plenty abandoned buildings, where I stay. So, what about you?"

"Peter!" Tony waved at Peter.

Peter blushed, biting his lip. Wade followed his gaze. "Is that Tony Stark?"

"Yeah." Peter answered.

Peter walked over to him. "Hey, dad."

"Dad?!" Wade exclaimed.

"Yeah. Dad, this is my friend, Wade Wilson."

"Nice to meet you." Tony said, shaking Wade's hand. "C'mon, Peter, we have to go pick up Steve."

"K, well, see you later, Wade." Peter replied, waving shyly at Wade as he got in the car.
