Peter arrived at the building of the reported burglary. The police hadn't arrived yet. The building belonged to a diamond store which was closed at the moment, so thankfully, no one was there.
But the glass door had been smashed, and I could see someone moving around in there. I walked inside.
"This is Spiderman. I command you to turn around and put your hands in the air." Peter said.
The man turned around, and Peter froze. It was Wade. He had a duffel bag laying open on a nearby counter, a pistol in his hand.
"Now, don't take this personally, Spidey, but someone is willing to pay a million dollars for your death, and I really need the money." Wade said.
"What are you talking about?" Peter asked.
"It doesn't matter. Anyways, good bye, Spidey." Wade said before he pulled the trigger.
Peter quickly ducked, avoiding the bullet. As he began moving, Wade rapidly began to fire at him.
"Karen, alert Iron Man and Captain America!" Peter yelled.
"HOLD STILL, SPIDEY!" Wade yelled.
"Peter." Tony's face appeared in front of Peter's eyes through his mask.
"I think I found that assassin you were looking for." Peter said. "He's trying to kill me."
"We're on our way." They replied.
Peter moved to swing away, when Wade fired and shot Peter in the shoulder. Peter cried out in pain before he lost his grip and fell to the roof of the building. Wade walked over to Peter. Not knowing what else to do, Peter played dead, causing him to bite his lip to keep from screaming out in pain.
Wade kicked him in the side. When Peter didn't respond, he nodded before turning to leave. After he had left and Peter's spidey sense had subsided, Peter finally sat up.
"Spidey?" Iron Man asked as he landed next to his son, dropping Captain America nest to him.
The two worried parents ran over to their son.
"He shot me. I played dead and he left." Peter said.
"Who was he?" Steve asked.
Peter opened his mouth to tell them it was Wade, but something made him stop. Instead, he said, "He wore a mask. I couldn't tell."
"Alright, we'll discuss it more at home after we bandage your arm." Steve said.

Weeks went by in which Peter was being homeschooled. Back at the highschool, Wade had started getting restless and began worrying about Peter. And that was how he ended up standing outside Stark Tower.
And because Peter, Tony, and Steve were more focused on fixing Peter's arm, they had forgotten to tell Jarvis not to let him in.
So, Wade was able to use the elevator to get to the main level of the building. When the elevator doors dinged open, he took a tentative step out into the room.
"Mr. Stark? Mr. Rogers? Are you here?" Wade asked.
"They're out on a mission hunting for that assassin or whatever. Go away!" Peter called from farther down in the hall.
Wade quickly rounded the corner to see Peter watching tv, his back to him. Peter wasn't wearing a shirt but was wearing pink hello kitty pajama pants. Wade immediately noticed the white bandage around his chest, shoulder and arm.
"Are you okay, Petey?" Wade asked.
Peter jumped to his feet and whirled around to face Wade, his eyes wide. "W-w-wade?"
"Hey, you haven't been at school for weeks and I was getting worried. I wanted to come check up on you." Wade said.
"Jarvis, call dads." Peter said, unable to keep his voice from shaking.
"Peter, what's wrong?" Wade asked. "What happened to your arm?"
Wade took a couple steps toward him. Peter backed away, bumping into the wall.
"Stay back!" Peter shouted.
Wade froze. "What?"
"Just stay away from me." Peter said.
Peter was surprised that his spidey sense hadn't gone off when Wade had entered the room. It should have gone off, especially now that he had just tried to shot him a few weeks ago.
"Peter, what's wrong?" Tony's voice said over the speakers.
"Wade's here. I'm by myself and he's here." Peter said.
"Then what's the problem?" Steve asked as well.
"He's the one who shot me. He's the assassin. Please just come home." Peter said, not taking his eyes off of Wade.
