"Wade, can you promise me something?" Peter asked.

"Sure." Wade replied.

"Don't tell anyone about my parents, okay? I don't like people to know. I don't want them to treat me differently just because I'm the son of two of the main Avengers." Peter said.

"Alright, I won't tell anyone. But tell me, do you have any powers?" Wade asked.

"No." Peter answered. "Besides being smart. I actually helped Dad design a few of his suits."

"Awesome." Wade said, smiling.

Peter smiled back.

"So, who's your mom?" Wade asked.

Peter blushed and bit his lip.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I promise." Wade said.

"Ok. Steve is technically my mom. That serum that gave him his super strength also enabled him to become pregnant, and after he and Tony got married in secret, so then I came into the picture. But it was kept secret. Only the Avengers know  the truth now besides you." Peter answered.

"So, do you think that you could pregnant?" Wade asked.

Peter looked at Wade shocked and with wide eyes. "I, uh, I don't know. I've been homeschooled my whole life, so I've never dated anyone. And we can't tell, it was kind of a shock to Steve and Tony as well."

"So, do you like guys?" Wade asked.

Peter looked at the ground. "Maybe."

"Well, I do. I like guys, girls, and transgender, so therefore I am Pan!" Wade said proudly, striking a pose.

Peter couldn't help but laugh. "You're ridiculous."

Wade smiled and wrapped an arm around Peter's shoulders. "You'll get used to it, Petey."

Over the next month, Peter and Wade grew closer together as friends. And Peter, whenever out on patrol, would always keep a special eye out for his friend. But he also was contemplating over telling Wade the truth.

Not too mention, the fact, that he already made an enemy at the school. Flash Thompson, who was on the football team, had taken to beating Peter any chance he got. It was taking all of Peter's willpower not to retaliate with his powers.

But he knew he couldn't. Steve and Tony were very protective of him, and if he revealed to the world that he was Spider-man, it would only make his life that much dangerous. Not too mention his only friend, Wade.

Peter watched as traffic went past him, as he sat on top of a building in his Spiderman uniform. His parents were off searching for some new mercenary that killed a few civilians.

"Sir, there has been a report of a burglary on 55th street." Karen reported.

Peter got up and shot a web at a nearby building, before swinging away.

Unlike Peter, Wade had no hesitations about telling Peter his secret. He wasn't going to. Especially since Peter's parents are freaking avengers.

Wade was strolling through his emails, looking for an assignment. His eyes lit up when he saw that someone was willing to pay a million dollars just for him to kill Spiderman. And as far as he knew, that spidey wasn't one of the big leaguers. Besides, he was ready to step up his game.

Wade quickly grabbed his bag of guns, once again wishing he had a pair of Katanas, but he didn't. Then he began to plan how he would trap Spiderman.
