Eve ran and ran and before she knew it she was already outside. She began gasping for breath as she slumped to the ground.
She raised her head and saw the bright blue sky. The moment she saw the sky, she felt all the heavy weight on her heart disappear.
She took a deep breath and began to turn her head and was shocked to see the place she was right now.
The place almost looked like it came a fairytale, with the flower in full bloom the place gives off a relaxing vibe.
Eve walked around for a little bit. As she was walking she saw a person sitting on a stone table.
The person had long silver hair that was hang beautifully on that person's back. Soon the person turned and looked at Eve with a surprised expression.
Eve saw how the person looked at her and realized she had been found out. She turned around quickly and was about to leave when suddenly the person stood up.
"Wait. " the person's voice came. It was as if spring came.
Eve stopped her tracks and turned around at the person who was now standing.
"Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you. "
Eve stared at the person. She was cautious, since she thought, that like on the movies a certain person as beautiful as this one became friends with the protagonist and soon became a back stabbing bastards.
"I'm sorry to intrude. " with that said Eve quickly turned.
"You're not from here are you? "
But before she could run off, she heard the mellow voice of the person and was stunned. She stood rooted on the ground.
Eve slowly turned and furrowed her brows. "Why do you say that? "
The person's curved her lips in an attractive way and started to chuckle. She pointed towards Eve and said. "You're clothes. It's different. "
Eve unconciously looked down and lifted her head to stare at the person.
Soon a growling sound came.
The person looked at Eve with widened eyes.
Eve's face was soon beat red. Damn it! My stomach is grumbling. How embarrassing.
The person chuckled. "Would you care for some sweets. "
The person soon pointed on the table, where a box can be seen.
Eve immediately smiled and said. "Really? Can I? "
The person nodded. And after that the both of them are the sweets on the table.
Time passed and the person casually asked Eve. "So. May I ask where do you come from? "
Eve stopped her eating and looked at the person. Since the person was kind enough to give her sweets with no poison, Eve smiled and told the person everything. Forgetting what she had thought earlier.
"I see. So you were transported here. And now you are being pursued by the guards?" the person asked, while giving Eve another piece of the sweets.
Eve accepted the sweet and nodded. "Yes, and you know what? I was running a while ago and happened to hide on a weird room."
"A weird room? " the person's eyes soon became cold.
Eve didn't really saw that and continued. "Yes a strange room. The room was dark, but suddenly a red glow appeared and when I walked over the red glow I saw a statue of a bird with it's wing wide open. " Eve furrowed her brows and looked really upset.
"And the funny thing is, I've seen that bird already. " Eve ruffled her hair as she remembered how she felt like her head was going to spilt open when she saw the bird.
The person was stiff as a surprised expression was fixed on her face.
And then soon Eve realized something. She suddenly stood up and slammed the table. "Oh no! Ryu! I've forgot!"
She bowed her head and left. As soon as she was far from the beautiful place, a guard saw her.
"Hey! There she is! "
The guard shouted. Minutes later tons of guards soon came in sight with weapons.
Eve turned to her right and saw more of them coming. No matter where she turn to there was always a dozens of guard rushing forth.
Eve lifted her head and saw that there was a railing on the roof. She was about to take action and jump when suddenly on her side she saw something that made her heart shake.
"If you want this man to live, then surrender yourself. "
Three guards was holding the ropes that was tied on Ryu. While the other one pulled out his sword and pointed it towards Ryu's neck.
Eve immediately stopped.
When Ryu saw Eve stop, he started shouting. "Eve! Hurry! Don't worry about me! Just run! "
The guard soon took out his unsheathed sword and slammed it on Ryu's knees.
He soon fell on the ground.
Eve was about to go near Ryu when suddenly a whole dozens of sword was pointed on her neck.
Beads of sweat soon formed on her head as she swallowed. She never thought that with just her boldly touching the emperor's hand will put them into this state.
"You can do whatever you want with me. So please spare him. He's got nothing to do with any of this. "
Eve pleaded. She was now determine to keep both of their life, even if the price will be painful. She will accept it, besides she can't let Ryu be caught up on this.
All of the guard lowered their sword. Eve heaved a sigh of relief when the sword that was pointing on her neck was lowered down.
Soon a guard approached her, and the next second a heavy slap was send across her face.
"EVE!!! "
Eve flew towards the ground. Blood trickling on her lips as her cheek was red. She struggled to get up, since the blow that she received really impacted her.
"You don't have the right to plead! " the guard who slapped Eve bellowed.
Ryu began struggling. He was so angry that he ripped the ropes in half. His forehead started to glow as he beat up the guards near him.
One of the guards saw how Ryu beat his comrades and swiftly pulled out his sword and began charging at Ryu.
Ryu blocked the sword, it was as if he had eyes on the back of his head. He soon gave a heavy blow on the guards abdomen. The guard soon collapsed from the pain.
But since there were dozens of guards Ryu was soon brought down. Four of the guards pinned him down.
And soon the guard who slapped Eve approached him. He took out his sword and lifted it up.
