Eve was experiencing excruciating pain. She began rolling on the floor as she screamed till her throat was dry.
Ryu quickly went over to Eve. But as soon as he was about to get close. Eve had released some fire. He backed off a little bit.
The room was now scorching hot. They don't know what to do, as they kept on staring at Eve who was screaming.
"Get out!! "
Eve was desperately fighting for her life. But as she was doing that, somewhere in her chest felt something warm.
And so she sat up and clutched her chest with both of her hands and soon a light appeared in her chest. With one finally thrust the light grew and blinded everyone in the room.
As soon as the light faded. Ryu immediately ran towards Eve. He caught her as she was about to fall.
Eve slowly opened her eyes and stood up straight. Was it over?
Ryu was holding unto her. "Hey, what happened?! Are you okay!? "
Seeing the worried look on Ryu's face. Eve gave him a reassuring smile.
"Yeah."
Hotaru and Naru quickly went over and helped Eve sat back on the bed. While the guards put out the remaining fire.
"What exactly happened? "
"I don't know? "
Eve took one deep breaths at a time. "I was sleeping. And as soon as I woke up, I felt great pain in my ear and my body. "
The three of them looked at each other. They could have sworn they saw a demonic figure on Eve's back.
They decided not to tell her. They were worried that it will scare her, so the three of them kept it as a secret.
After that, they let Eve rest for a bit. The three of them left the room.
"Hey. You guys saw the thing on her back right? "
Ryu asked. He had a very solemn look on his face as he remembered how the demon looked.
"Yes. What was that? "
Naru who was looking at the worried look on their face began to turn around. "No matter what it is. I know that it wants to hurt Eve."
Ryu and Hotaru nodded. She was right, the demon looked really pleased when Eve was experiencing pain.
The three of them thought of it. But sadly nothing came into mind. And so they put it aside for now.

Eve was sitting on the grassy ground. She had nothing to do, and Hotaru won't let her do some training.
And so she was stuck with sitting on the ground and watching the sky.
While sitting Eve noticed someone was behind her. She tilted her head upward to see Naru with a displeased look.
"Naru. What's up? "
"What do you mean what's up? Your sitting here doing nothing, while Ryu left."
Eve blinked for a bit before asking. "He left? "
Naru sighed. Before looking left and right. When she saw that no one was around she crouched down towards Eve and whispered.
"Hey. Why are you sitting here, when the man you like had left? "
When Eve heard her, she turned beet red as she stood up. "W.. What do you mean by like!? "
"Hmm? " Naru stood up and raised her brow. "So you don't like him? "
Eve backed away for a bit when she heard her. "It... It's not like, I don't like him. It's just.. "
Before she could finish what she was going to say. Naru had already grabbed her hand and close up on her. She was so close that her face was already near her nose.
"So you do like him? If you do just tell him. There's no harm in it. "
"I... Uh.. No.. It's... Argh! I'll go okay! "
Eve had enough of Naru's teasing and left with flushed face.
In the streets.
Eve scratched her head as she looked all over the place and didnt saw him. She sighed, and what Naru told her came into her mind.
Tell him how I feel?
When she was about to give up. A bustling noise was heard. She turned her head and saw that lots of people was looking at something.
Out of curiosity, Eve went to look what's going on. And was surprised to what she saw.
It was Ryu. He was wearing a sun glasses and a fake mustache.
"Come one! Come all! For I have this! A magical snack that you can make a bubble off. It's sweet and also nutritious. Some come get. For only five hundred zol. "
Eve was dumbfounded when she saw what he was boasting as a magical snack. It was the gum that she gave to him.
He was selling it off? And with such incredible price, to boot.
The crowd started getting wild as they fought for the gum.
"I'll take it! "
"No. I'll buy it for eight hundred zol. "
"Make that a thousand. "
Ryu was snickering. He never thought that this magical thing Eve gave him. Will be so useful.
As he was about to sell it off, some of the people on the crowd soon felt like it was a scam.
"How can we tell that your telling the truth! "
"Yeah! Yeah! "
"Scam! "
Ryu was now in a tight spot. As he tried to reason with the people. He saw that the people that had voiced their opinion was actually the guys that he met back on the alley.
He gritted his teeth. Damn it! Why won't these guys stop.
When he was about to give another statement a certain someone voiced out.
"I believe that! "
Ryu had search for the person on the crowd that said that. But what he saw was Eve standing in the crowd, with a smile plastered on her face.
"What....are you doing here? "
"I believe it. "
The crowd was silent for a bit, before they started being noisy again. They started gathering towards Eve.
"My Lady. "
"The Messiah. "
"Why is she here? "
Eve started panicking when the crowd started to try and touch her. It was as if she was a salvation to them.
Just as she was about to ask for help. Ryu had already went in front of her shielding her. Eve felt happy that he is trying to protect her.
"Come one! Come all! A hundred zol for a handshake with the Messiah. "
When Eve heard that Ryu wasn't protecting her, but was actually making money out of her. A surging rage filled her heart.
