Alex's Pov I just got off the plane with my mom to move to aruba, me and my mom are moving in with her boyfriend soon to be husband I just can't believe my mom is dating again, I hate the guy he tries acting like my dad, me and my mom went to our new home and I sighed I mean it was beautiful but nothing like my old home I grabbed my suitcase and brought it inside I then hear my mom talking to someone outside I walk out and see a couple "Alex this is Susanne and Gilbert they are our neighbors" my mom said I smiled and shook their hand "hi I'm Alexandria but call me Alex" I said they nodded and smiled "I would love to have you guys come over for dinner and maybe Alex can become friends with our sons" Gilbert said I fake smile "yeah that sounds amazing" my mom said as we went in unpacking our things "Alright Alex get dressed wear something nice" my mom said I sighed "yes mom" I responded annoyed My dress v

I decided to curl my hair lightly and put on a light makeup look I come down stairs with my mom carrying a bottle of wine and her boyfriend with a huge smile I rolled my eyes "can we just get this over with" i said my mom nodded her head and we walked out the house and walked next door her boyfriend knocked on the door "be nice alex" my mom said I nodded my head a boy opened a door he was tall and buff he had green eyes "hello welcome I'm Gilmher and come on in" Gilmher said we all walked in and we sat at the table "where's your bathroom" I asked "it's upstairs first door on your left" Gilmher said I nodded my head and started walking near the stairs and I looked back because I hear my mom laughing and I tripped and before I fell someone caught me my eyes widen and I look at the boy "I don't think we've met" the boy said "I'm alex" I stuttered "well hello Alex I'm Jay" he said I got my balance and stood up "short for" I asked "short for Jayden, what about you" he said "Alexandria" I replied he smiled "nice name ready to go eat" he said I smiled and nodded my head we walked back and I had forgotten that I needed to go to the bathroom I sat next to him and we started eating his parents were telling me embarrassing stories about Gilmher and Jayden we were all laughing then I got a call I look to see who it is "ugh Carlos" I whispered Jayden looked at me "everything okay" he asked i nodded my head "I'm sorry I need to take this" I said as I left the table I went into their backyard and answered the call Me: Carlos what do you want Carlos:baby take me back Me:leave me alone okay we're done alright and it's for the best Carlos:come on babe remember those fun times we had Me:Carlos stop!! I yelled and Jayden looked at me I sighed.
Jayden's Pov I heard Alex yelling we all look over there "let me go see what's wrong" I told them they nodded their head Gilmher looked at me "you sure" he said I nodded my head "I'll be back" I said as I got up and walked to the back yard.
Alex's Pov Me:Carlos just leave me alone Carlos: no i won't let you end it like this Me:too late Carlos"no wai- I ended the call and I looked down and sighed "hey" I heard Jayden say I turned around "uh hey I'm sorry if I was loud" I said "no it's okay don't worry about it" Jayden said I gave a small smile, everyone comes out into the back yard "who wants to go for a swim" I heard jayden's dad say as he picked up his wife and throws her in the pool, we all started laughing my mom's boyfriend takes his shirt off and carrys my mom as well and throws her in I laughed a bit I saw my mom she was actually happy maybe I've been looking at Andrew all wrong (my mom's boyfriend) Jayden looks at me I realized what he was gonna do so I took off my heels and started running around the pool trying to get away from him he takes his shirt off and I take my dress off their parents are just laughing at us Jayden caught up to me and picked me up "please dont" I said laughing holding him tight he started laughing he jumped in with me in his arms we rose up the water and started laughing I got out and Gilmher brought us towels I rapped one around me and I got cold "do you wanna go inside" Jayden said I nodded my head we went inside and into his room "do you want to borrow a sweater" he asked "no it's Okay" I said while getting the goosebumps "here" he said while giving me a sweater he went digging in his closet he pulled out some shorts it looked like girl shorts "here" he said "so what you just own girl shorts or what" I said smiling "no it was my ex's shorts" he said "oh dang what you keeping gifts on the night's you have" I said "No I'm not like that" he said seriously I cleared my throat "can I change" I said changing the subject he nodded his head "I'll be waiting outside for you just come when your ready" he said i smiled softly and watched him leave I them changed his sweater fit me big.
