Fantasy Love

I drew a dream into my head
of my prince charming,
little i knew that dreams are like dew
vanishing away each morning.
But still each night as my eyes closed
his dreams swiped.
Not an extraordinary prince charming
a simple man with similar thoughts
with whom i laughed, Giggled and tossed.
Who made me feel special and alive,
in his eyes i felt lost.
I prayed for him with fingers crossed.
With care he treated my family too.
Nothing more i wanted in life,
i just wanted to be his wife.
The day finally came which i always waited for,
Not on any white horse, but walking came my man towards me,
while i was in my white gown waiting in glee.
Roses in his hand, smile on face he went down on his knees.
He was about to say those three magical words,
but before he could complete my alarm made my day,
i wish little more i could have stayed.
Dream was left incomplete with my answer still due,
in my head with him a fantasy world I drew.
