CHAPTER 1
Olivia
*RING RING RING RING RING!!!*
I knew if I waited long enough my mom would answer the phone. I'm sure that sounds mean but that's what I do.
"OLIVIA!! PHONE!"
"KK!"
"Congratulations you've reached Olivia." I always answered with something like that.
"You're coming tomorrow right Liv?"
I rolled my eyes. There was only one person this could be. My bestie Abbie obviously.
"Course Ab! I wouldn't miss something so fabu."
I had recently drilled it into my popular girl clique that abbreviations were totally in.
"Great! Meet me outside the school. I paid my brother to take us to the mall and drive us back to my place for our weekly sleepover!"
I couldn't help but grin. Abbie was always trying to impress me and it was great. I mean it's just one of the perks to being one of the most popular girls in school.
"...Liv?"
"I think I'm going to drive to the mall myself."
"Oh."I could hear her disappointment.
*beep beep beep*
"Actually I got to go. Ben is calling me."
"Cute!!! You two are adorable! Bye Liv!" All her hurt instantly vanished.
I hung up quickly and even though he couldn't see me I did a little prepping.
"Hey Ben." I tried doing that girlie trick where you deepen your voice to sound sexy, but I sounded more like a dude.
"Hey Olivia. So we're still on for Saturday right?"
"Of course! I have to come home and get ready though because I'm staying at Abbie's house Friday."
"I figured. Meet me at the theater, or should I pick you up?"
"You should pick me up in your new car!! I can't wait to see it!"
"Sure Liv. Hey Jeremy is here I got to go. Bye babe."
"Bye Ben!"
I loved being 16 and spoiled. Also having a boyfriend with a car could not get any better! My mom wouldn't buy me a car so I got the next best thing-a Mo-ped! I absolutely love my lime green Mo-ped. It had baby blue and purple accents.
"Dinner time Olivia!"
I couldn't help but sigh. My mom AlWAYS wanted to have an excuse for 'family time' even though she was on the phone for at least half of it. She's one of those parents who's CONSTANTLY working. Which is actually really cool because I don't ever lie to her. Mostly because she is never home to question anything.
I ran downstairs nearly tripping over my kitten.
"Ohh baby watch it I don't want to step on you."
I absolutely love my little calico kitten Onrie. I scooped her up and gently set her in my sweatshirt pocket.
"Will you set the table Olivia."
