"Come on Liv time to go." Someone said lifting me out of bed.
“Ok…” I said leaning my head on their shoulder.
“Livvy, I am not going to carry you out of here.” They said laughing.
“No?” I mumbled.
“Olivia! Wake up!”
“Ah! I’m up!” I said snapping my eyes open. Chase was laughing.
“Oh, ha-ha.” I muttered dryly.
“Let’s go.” He said setting me down. I rolled my eyes and reached for the suitcase only to have Chase smack my hand away.
“OW!” I exclaimed pulling back.
“I added stuff to it, so I'll carry it. Can you take this backpack to the kitchen and grab us a bunch of food and water? Maybe a map too."
“An how about ten thousand dollars while I'm at it?" I teased grabbing the backpack. Sneaking downstairs I headed to the kitchen. I realized that I didn't know how long we would be on the road, so I grabbed two loaves of bread, (white) a jar of peanut butter, (chunky) bananas, oranges, and some beef jerky. When I looked through the pantry I found Raman noodles, ravioli, (canned) and a few sweets and water bottles. Plus I found a handy dandy water purifier. As I was walking out I noticed a head with blonde hair whip around the corner. I pretended not to notice and walked out with my head held high.
“Ready?" I asked Chase.
“Yeah, but have you thought where we're going to go?" He asked.
“Home?"
Chase nodded.
“Last question, do you know where home is?”
I admit that part hadn't crossed my mind. I ignored the question and walked down the driveway. I heard Chase follow with the suitcase rolling along. I giggled as it hit a bump and he swore trying to control it.
“Yeah! Super funny!" He called sarcastically.
"I thought so too!" I giggled.
"You are hateful." He said catching up.
"Aww thanks." I said pantomiming my smile
“You’re so adorable.” He laughed and grabbed my hand pulling me to a stop.
“Uhm, Chase?” I asked already seeing his beautiful face and feeling myself go weak.
“Yeah Liv?” He asked stepping closer.
“Never mind.” I said letting my eyes flutter close while he closed the distance.
Just when our lips were about to touch he pulled away.
"I proved it." Chase said smugly.
"Proved what?" I asked confused as to why he hadn't kissed me.
"You like me and you know it!" He said smiling. I pushed him back angry that he had
been testing me.
"You're an ass." I muttered trying to turn away.
"Oh shut up Liv." He murmured pulling me flush against him. Chase crashed his lips to mine and I tried to resist, but ending up hooking my arms behind his head and pulling him closer.
"There is no closer Livvy." He whispered.
"What?" I asked pushing him back.
"You said you wanted to pull me closer and I said there was no closer." He laughed lightly, kissing me again.
"I didn't say anything Chase." I said pushing him away yet again.
"God Liv, yes you did now will you just kiss me already!" He said, once again trying to kiss me. I roll my eyes and laugh about how hormonal he is.
"I am not hormonal!" He said sounding rather outraged.
"You did it again!" I shouted jumping away.
"Wait....I can read your mind??" He asked excitedly.
I nod.
"Think something I shouldn't know!" He laughed giddily.
*like what? Like how I love you?* I thought before I realized what I had just done. Chase got a funny look on his face before grabbing me and smashing his mouth to mine; not at all gently.
