Olivia
After Chase's mysterious explanation Dielin decided it would be better for me an Chase to wait a ways away from the museum so he could grab her and bring her back.
While we were waiting on the hill we started discussing our predicament.
"If we were smart we would run." I said logically.
"True Liv but don't you want answers?" Chase countered. I gave him that. I really wanted to know what the hell was going on. We sat in silence until I saw Dielin speeding towards us.
"Incoming." Chase said standing up. He pulled me up too and we watched as Madison and Dielin had a reunion. Suddenly Madison disapeared.
"Where the hell did she go?" Chase asked.
"Easy Chameleon we're with friends." Dielin said hugging air. Madison came back still in the same position as when she disapeared. She smirked at my shocked look.
"Maddie this is Chase and Olivia. Guys this is Maddie." Dielin introduced.
"We look exactly alike." We both said astonished.
"Holy crap." Chase said. Dielin nodded in agreement.
"So why are you here Dielin." She asked turning on him.
"Gee thanks love. I might believe you didn't miss me." Dielin said back.
"Cut the crap Die. Tell me what you guys want." Madison said angrily.
"We want to find Dr. Christian. Plus I did miss you Maddie." Dielin said.
"Fine I can take you there and I missed you too." She whispered smiling a little. Being sweet seemed to be killing her.
"How are we going to get there?" Chase broke in. She looked up surprised as if Chase shouldn't be talking.
"Genetically duh."
"Mad! They don't know about that!" Dielin interrupted her. Chase and I shared a confused look.
"Why not??" She asked narrowing her eyes.
"Later Maddie let's just go! Chase Liv you know what to do." Dielin said. We nodded and I jumped on Chase's back while Maddie did the same thing. During the run she kept whispering in Dielin's ear and laughing all while looking back at us. It was infuriating. When Dielin stopped suddenly an started questioning Maddie I got worried. In the end they held hands and started walking. So Chase and I followed far enough behind so we could talk.
"So?"
"So what Liv?"
"She seems like a bitch." I said blatantly.
"Liv she's your sister!" Chase protested.
"I know but she hasn't made it clear she's even a little happy about it." I argued. He shrugged an we saw them walking through a large gate so we ran to catch up.
An older man was standing on the porch steps.
"Madison! Dielin!" He exclaimed when he saw them.
"Who is with you?" He asked squinting. Before they could answer he ran down the steps.
"Livvy!" He yelled pulling me into a huge hug.
"Hello?" I said or asked really.
"Oh how I've missed you! Who is with you Olivia?"
"My name is Chase." He said extending his hand. He and the old man shook hands.
"Please come in!" He explained walking passed Dielin an Madison. Who was shooting daggers at me I might add. Dielin shrugged and walked in after us.
"Welcome to my home! If you could excuse us I need to speak with Dielin for a few moments." The man said. I think he was Dr. Christian although I'm not sure. Chase and I went to chat while Madison huffed in a corner.
"What was that about?" Chase asked shocked.
"I've got no idea!! How does he know me?!"
"I'm sorry to interuppt but Dielin has informed me you spent some time in a filthy cell. I would like to, uh, vaccinate you two." Dr. Christian said kindly. I shrugged but followed him to the lab with Chase and Dielin on my heels.
"Okay. Olivia please sit on this table and Chase next to her."
"Dielin was in the cell too." I pointed out.
"Only for a while to rescue you my dear." The doctor said. I shot Chase a look and my eyes widened when I saw the big needle Dr. Christian was brandishing. There were two syringes filled with two different liquids. The murky grey one Dr. Christian inserted into my arm and the pink one into Chase's arm.
"Why two different things?" Chase asked quietly.
"For male and female. Also this will make you sleepy so Dielin is going to take you to your rooms." He explained. I nodded drowsily.
"Whaaa?" Chase mumbled incoherently. I feel my thoughts drifting away, but I still hear Dielin.
"What will they become now?"
"Only time will tell Dielin. Only time will tell." Then my mind faded into darkness.
