CHAPTER 1.4
"It's stupid! Stupid, stupid stupid!"
"Fuck! Shut up Zander, you saw it with you very own eyes. You dumbass!" Xena shouted.
"You've got to be shitting me!"
"Stop fighting!" Yato moved in between the two who looked like they were about to murder each other.
Xena groaned in frustration as she stormed out of the house, the front door slammed loudly behind her.
"What the hell is going on?!" Wade asked as he ran in from outside, Uta soon came in from the kitchen- a slice of bacon hanging from his mouth. Soon enough, everyone was in the living room. Including Richie who was piggybacking on Leo. They all looked to Zander for an explanation of the sudden argument.
"Shit!" Zander swore as he sat down on the couch. "We're in trouble."
"What do you mean?" Felix asked.
"There is a new drug on the market. I went to the place Aya thought was suspicious, well it was! There is someone manufacturing drugs out of the Lunar Comet."
"How is it even in their possession? I've had a lock on its location for years!"
"Well obviously not a good one!" Zander snapped.
"Don't get so snarly with each other, I'm sure we can handle the situation." Kayo said, her usual optimistic self. I wave of doubt fell over the room like a suffocating blanket. Everyone turned to look at Dimitri.
"Sorry, I can't help it." He said, looking guilty and shuffling his feet.
"Yeah well maybe you should leave, you're not helping in any way. You only make things harder." Zander snarled, curling his lip up at the other teen. Several of the others looked stunned at what Zander had said, staring at the boy in disbelief.
"You're right." Dimitri spoke, breaking the uneasy silence that had lingered in the room. He moved from where he was standing and moved towards the front door.
"Wait, Dimitri!" Kayo called out to him. "Zander!" Kayo turned towards Zander, staring him down intensely. Kayo didn't get mad all too often, and even when she did, you wouldn't notice. "Why the hell would you do that?" Kayo said in an extremely calm voice. Zander however, was not calm and was freaking out over not only the issue at hand, but because Kayo was insanely close to his face.
"Uh, I... Um." Zander stuttered. While everyone was focused on Kayo and Zander, Nixon quietly followed Dimitri out the door.
"Zander, why would you do that? Don't make me ask a third time." Kayo was shorter than Zander, but she was still very intimidating. When she was angry, her eyes lost their sparkle, she seemed to turn grey, as if all colour was drained from her. They all assumed it was part of her power, that at any point in time when she wasn't being kind, her personality was off put.
"Kayo, I'm sorry but there are more important things to discuss right now. I'm sure Dimitri can wait a little for an apology. However, these Lunar Comet drugs are already in use. If we don't act fast, the consequences could be catastrophic." Helena stepped in, resting a hand on Kayo's shoulder.
"She's right, we need to take action. Zander, tell us everything you know." Wade said. He addressed Zander with a stern face, his teeth clenched in fear of the information he was about to hear.
"Ok, so I heard three names. Marvin Sud, Charles Vlicim, and Chris-toupee Andretti."
"Toupee?" Silvia questioned.
"Don't look at me, I'm just saying what I heard." Zander held up his hands in a surrendering gesture as Helena sighed.
"Anything else?" Wade pushed.
