"You gotta be kidding me!" Zander shouted, coming to a slow. Water dripped from his clothing."Dry me now Wade!" Wade did as asked and Zander quickly ran towards the man again.
"Wade!" Uta shouted. Wade quickly lifted a hand and caught the water that began pouring, he aimed it at the man like a pistol, the pressure alone was enough to make him stumble back. Uta quickly used his other hand to summon an electric current. He fused it with the water. The man immediately reacted to the electric shock as he dropped to his knees. Zander then charged towards him, the kinetic energy generated enough force to knock the man out completely.
"There's still one more, where the fuck did she go?" Zander shouted, stopping next to Richie. Richie relaxed a little, easing in the shield a little. The other girl had disappeared as soon as they gained the upper hand.
"Over there! Crap!" Leo shouted, ducking as a series of small knives flew his way.
Richie immediately strengthened his shield, looking over at the girl who was sprinting across the pillars attached to the warehouse roof. Hundreds of knives floated behind her, sporadically targeting the group.
She was going to fast for Uta and Wade to hit her, so Zander zoomed after her. Richie was beginning to find it hard to keep the shield over everyone with how fast Zander was moving- and he could feel himself getting weak at the knees.
"I can't keep this up much longer!" Richie cried around, collapsing into Leo's arms.
Wade and Uta sensed the issue and quickly created an ice shield. Richie only had to focus on Zander now, who was having a difficult time catching the girl whilst simultaneously dodging the knives.
Richie began to feel them. Once his shield had weakened to a certain point he would begin to feel the pain. He would channel the damage to keep the others safe. The pain would start off dull, but it would get progressively worse. Hence, why he hated missions. He was always the one who got hurt.
"He's beginning to bleed! Hurry the hell up!" Leo lied Richie down, letting his head rest in Leo's lap. Richie could feel the blood seeping through his shirt. Just another scar. Just another day.
"I got her!"

Glitter fell through the air, raining down like a summer's shower. Puddles of gems and rhinestones littered the ground, reflecting light in every direction. It was beautiful. Well, at least Brendon thought so.
"BRENDON!!" Penny yelled, angry at the flamboyant gay who immediately waltzed through the door.
"What is it Penny dear? Something upsetting you?"
"Oh, you know full well what's upsetting me! I swear if you don't clean up this mess I'll-"
"Yes, yes you'll burn it to the ground." Brendon recited, having heard the speech up to 1000 times.
"You really need to learn to appreciate true beauty."
"I think it'd be beautiful to watch all of this burn, don't you?" Penny snapped.
"Don't be so crude! How could you want to destroy something so absolutely gorgeous?" Brendon gasped, gobsmacked by Penny's words
"I'm telling you Brendon, it'll all burn if you don't clean it up this instant!"
"Oh, hush. It won't be there forever, I'll clean it later." Brendon shrugged off the scolding, however he then turned to look Penny in the eyes. Her eyes were glowing brighter than all the glittering items in the room.
