Stein and the pair landed in Paris and made their way to the hotel,  bringing their belongings up to their rooms.

Miyoko sat on her bed and looked into her bag as she started unpacking into drawers. Claude took a breath and pulled his old shirt off and tossed it to the side before pulling a grey v neck out of his bag.

Looking at his Meister he noticed her nibbling on a small cookie, he watched her peacefully for a moment before chuckling. She raised an eyebrow and looked at him. Blushing once she realized she was what he was laughing at.

"What?" She asked and he shook his head, smiling at her still. "Want one?" She asked holding the small bag of cookies out to him and placing another in between her lips.

Her cheeks were a faint red, trying not to think about him laughing at her a moment ago. She focused her eyes on his as she held the bag up slightly for him, He stepped closer and nodded.

"Don't mind if I do..." He moved his body close to hers. Claude held her chin up momentarily, his other hand going to the bed to hold himself over her a bit. He bit the cookie she held in her lips in half and smiled as he watched her eyes widen and a deep blush cross her cheeks.

"Thanks." He chewed his half of the cookie and licked his lips as he pulled away, Miyoko was frozen with her face the bright red.

"We should get moving... Stein will be waiting." He said smirking as he grabbed his denim jacket and flipped it over and slid his arms into the sleeves.

She nodded slightly, finishing her cookie quickly and snapping herself out of the slight daze. Grabbing her small black over the shoulder purse, placing the bag of cookies in and pulling it over her shoulder. She followed after Claude and walked besides him.

Claude's shoulder's broad and his stance confident as they walked throughout the hallways. In the Lobby awaiting the partners, Stein stood smoking his cigarette. He pulled a drag and nodded, looking over the pairing as he exhaled and sighed.

"Shall we?" He questioned turning, beginning to walk out of the hotel and hailing a carriage headed north. Their destination was the city of Misery, a small city not too far from Paris.

The streets were small and cramped, the stone buildings were large and broken down a bit, mold traveling up the buildings. The streets were almost completely empty. The only people in sight were two children, playing quietly with their toys on the cracked Cobblestone.

They heard the footsteps of newcomers and their heads turned. The small children focusing on Miyoko as she passed by. The little girl hid behind her brother, clentching her doll in hand. Miyoko smiled sweetly at them and took the cookies out of her purse.

Walking over as she offered the two children the bag of cookies tied with a pink bow, They flinched as Miyoko came closer. She stopped momentarily,  lowering herself on her knees she gave a soft and inviting smile. Once they saw her smile, their faces lightened slightly and they bowed their heads in thanks while taking the bag.

Standing up Miyoko turned back towards her partner and started to walk towards the old clock tower. The small girl grabbed a hold on miyoko's hand with a frightened look, frantically shaking her head.

"Don't worry... we are going to get rid of the monsters..." Miyoko patted the girl's head gently, she had a face of uncertainty as she looked at the meister. Miyoko left with the others and they stood before the clock tower.

The air became heavy as Stein watched the afternoon sky was setting in, he lit a cigarette and pushed his hand back into his pocket. Exhaling before looking at the pair.

"Are you two ready?" He asked and Miyoko nodded looking at Claude; He smiled at his partner, nodding confidently before transforming for her.

As they were going to step into the building a loud screech was heard in the air. Miyoko turned her direction towards the kishin climbing out of the top of the tower.

The beast jumped down and smashed into the ground, sniffing the air for a moment then turning towards Miyoko. It's face was narrow, the mouth large, and it's nostrils flaring towards her scent. She watched it and took notice one of It's small eyes were scratched out.

"Let's play.." She spoke as the kishin ran towards her with a hungry roar. She took her stance, back to the clock tower and as the kishin swung to strike her she jumped back and out of the kishins range, her legs pressing against the wall . Using the power in her legs she kicked off  swinging and hitting the kishin's chest. It was pushed back slightly and screeched in pain momentarily, gripping at its chest as blood began to rush out the wound.

Angered, the kishin turned back to Miyoko and reached to grab her. She swung at its arm, Severing it from the beasts body. Miyoko smirked looking over the beast, as it's are dropped lifeless. She chuckled faintly, but then her eye quickly shot to the detached arm as she noticed it began to wiggle a bit frantically.

"What the..." She watched as the arm began to glow as it enlargened. The look of confusion on her face as she watched as it began to morph. Hearing the beast's heavy footsteps get near her, Miyoko stepped back as the kishin swung its arm at her with a hungry growl. It was in this moment she took a good look at her opponent and she realized, its arm completely grew back.

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Claude shouted from his weapon form. She gripped him firmly in hand, just when she went to attack one of the kishin's she felt another strong soul grow near. She turned to see where the soul was coming from. There was a woman, high above the group. She was standing on the rooftops, peering down at the Meister.

The energy coming from this woman's wavelength was a power Miyoko had never experienced before. She was overwhelmed as she observed the  power she felt from this soul.

"Is that...?" She looked closer to hear the woman chanting spells under her breath."A witch!" Miyoko smirked as she spoke, narrowing her eyes as she used her speed to attack one of the kishin's. Dicing it into small pieces. The red soul floated and she sliced through it quickly.  She turned to face the other kishin who formed from the detached arm, just to take notice of another kishin down the road that had just arrived, its eyes locked on Miyoko.

"Tonight's the night Claude!" She excitedly spoke as she rushed towards a Kishin, the kishin's body went from on guard to suddenly shrieking in pain as it looked like wires had formed around the beast and sliced it into pieces. It's red soul floating, waiting for someone to claim.

There was another chant and the soul began to float towards the woman on the roof. She held a vile open and the soul sucked into it. The final kishin watched as the soul followed her, he released a loud screech and as he turned to attack the witch, Miyoko charged at him and sliced him up. Watching as the body dropped and no soul appeared.

"So the beasts shared a soul." Claude stated not really surprised that the kishin which grew from the other, didn't have a soul.

Miyoko narrowed her eyes at the witch and she watched her as she leaned against the edge of the building with a chuckle.

"Would you look at what the spirits dragged in." A small chuckled was heard as she leaned her cheek against her palm.  "Would you look at this porcelain doll..." she chuckled and seemed to step out on air. As she got a bit closer, the streetlight illuminated the witch a bit and Miyoko took notice of Threads which seemed to hold tension under her body; suspending her up high. "What a beautiful doll you are."
