"So it's like a date?!" Asked the brown haired girl.
"No Hanji, I just asked him for coffee." Levi deadpanned.
"Which would be the exact same thing!" Hanji shrieked. Levi know it was pointless to argue with someone who already made up their mind, so he just clicked his tongue and shake his head.
"Leave me alone will you?" He told off but Hanji stood her ground. "Nah! You're much more fun to annoy!" She chirped.
"Go annoy Erwin or something." He said as he continued on his work sheet.
Hanji looked at Erwin with a (creepy) grin on her face. Erwin scooted a bit further as the brunette sat beside him.
He sighed in defeat as Hanji started to poke his cheek.
"I'm already annoyed." He said as he continued to work on his own.
Hanji already finish her work sheet and passed it to their teacher. Being the first one among the class, she was aloud to do whatever she wanted. Except going out without permission. (A/n: I based this on my teacher's rules. But we weren't aloud to shout or sing loudly since the principal's office is just right beside our classroom.)
Moments later, Levi had already finished his work sheet and passed it to his teacher. Soon Erwin and then the rest of the class.
Since it was his last period he decided he would go for a walk around campus, he had a lot of time so might as well enjoy a peaceful walk.
He wandered around until he found himself at the gym where he saw the green eyed brat about to sit down on one of the benches.
Not being able to stop himself, he went over and sat down.
Eren had just finished warming up for a volleyball match between his team and Jean's team.
Taking a sip of water, he wiped off the sweat from his forehead and ran his fingers through his hair.
His shirt was pretty wet with sweat so it was clinging on to his body.
It showed an outline of his lean and well built figure (A/n: I'm dead😆) that was enough to catch attention from almost everyone in the room. Especially the girls from the other side of the court.
They've been trying to get his attention the entire period, but none have succeeded.
A loud whistle broke through the air indicating the game to begin. But before Eren could walk away from the benches, he caught sight of a certain someone.
He waved at Levi smiling and jogged up to the court.
Levi rolled his eyes, but the certain gesture made his heart flutter. He brushed it off, he knew better than to fall for someone who wouldn't catch him.
Eren made his way to his team, telling them their strategy to win.
"... Alright guys, just remember to have fun and let's win this thing!"
They all went onto their positions.
"You ready ass whole?" Jean asked.
"I was born ready, but are you ready f*ck face?" He retorted.
"Please keep cussing to a minimum!" The teacher reminded.
"Sorry Mr. Anderson!" Both said.
"Let the game begin!"
(A/n: I'm not exactly good with writing sports scenes, please bare with me.)
As the server tossed the ball and hit it, scoring an ace (A/n: A serve which lands in the opponent's court without being touched, or is touched, but unable to be kept in play by one or more receiving team players.) From Eren's team.
As the game continued, Levi silently watched from the bleachers. He was impressed at how good the kid was at the game. His tactics were good. And his skills were impressive.
This brat never seizes to amaze me.
Every spike (spiking is the act of scoring a point by slamming the ball over the net into the opposing court effectively and aggressively. In many ways, the mechanism of volleyball spiking is not altogether different from the act of slam dunking in the sport of basketball.) Was calculated, every Block (is a skill in volleyball used to prevent the opponent from a successful attack hit.) Was precise, every joust (when the ball is falling directly on top of the net, two opposing players jump and push against the ball, trying to push it onto the other's side.) Was accurate. And every serve was pinpointed.
The game went on 3-2 and Eren's team won. It was a heated yet pleasing match.
In the end, Eren was down on the floor panting and fist bumping the air.
"We won!" His teammates cheered.
They helped him back on his feet, now he was even more sweaty. Not that anyone was complaining, it showed off more of his abs.
Levi felt a smile creep on to his face, something about seeing the kid happy make him happy as well.
It was weird and new to Levi but he kept pushing it away, he kept denying it.
He forcefully tried to suppress the ever growing smile on his face but it was too late. Eren notice and smiled back and waved at him.
Don't make me fall for you, if you can't catch me.
With those thoughts he left the gym and headed to Chen's like he promised Eren.
Let's just hope the brat won't stand me up.
