Not What He Seems [Ereri/ Riren]

Chapter 13

"And so, we witness two love birds coming in the school zone. Hand in hand, they walk towards us, the other was red and the other was charging in on us-! --" Hanji's Narrating words were cut off when she saw Levi ran towards her, anger flickered in his eyes.

"Oh shit." She said before running off to who knows where. Levi just a few steps behind.

Eren gladly took a seat beside Petra who was working on her scrapbook.

"Is that for your man?" Eren laughed.

"Actually, it's for her girl, I'm just helping." Petra replied as she glued some pictures of Krista and Ymir.

It was nearly the end of the semester so they didn't have much classes, they figured they would just invest their time in making gifts for their significant other. (A/n: must be nice.😶) Other than that, attendance is a must. So they weren't allowed to be absent.

"Can I help?" Eren asked, he was rather good with these kinds of things, other than the fact he felt left out with doing nothing, he decided to help.

"Sure!" Both chirped.

They were about to finish the first half when Levi came dragging Hanji by the ear.

"Aww! Ouch! Levi stop pulling my ear! I promise never to do it again! Stop!" Hanji cried. As soon as the two got to where Eren and the girls were, they started to chat a little.

After they were done, Levi insisted on helping them clean up since he didn't like the mess they made.

Time seems to fly by because before they knew it, it was already lunch time.

All they students went inside the halls to the cafeteria.
The crowded halls made Eren feel uneasy so he fell behind the others.

The fact that he was recieving judgemental looks from people he seldom see inside campus made it worse. But that didn't stop him from moving forward to the cafeteria.

Finally reaching the cafeteria, they made their way to their usual table. Eren however had to stray away. Yes he and Levi were dating. But a low key relationship is better than having nosey people up your ass about details on the so called relationship they had.

Not giving any f*cks about the stares he received he made his way over his usual table. There, he was greeted by Armin who in this case was now munching on his sandwich.

Smiling at his best friend, he slid over his side catching his significant others' gaze on him. He smiled and winked over at him, to which Levi gladly smiled and winked back.

"Since when were you close with Levi Ackerman?" Jean asked.

He must have seen Eren smile at him, but he internally hoped he didn't catch the wink.

"Since we finished that project in English, why? Jealous Kerstin?" Eren laughed. The thought of making fun of Jean was hilarious but it's all part of their friendship.

"Not really, but I thought you'd like the taller ones. Not the you know..." Jean trailed off.

"And how can you say that I like tall ones?" (A/n: Pano mo na Sabi?😂)

"Hehe, I didn't say that you liked tall guys. I just assumed you did." Jean explained himself.

"Well stop assuming thing. Your gonna get hurt just because of that, you know." Eren adviced.

Having experience in the field of assumption had its downside, but it's a part of life.

Jean only shrugged, "how can. Assuming things hurt you?" He asked rather curious than confused.

"Assuming your crush likes you can get your hopes up, getting your hopes up, you get courage to do so, getting courage to do so means confessing, confessing means telling them you like them assuming they'll say they like you back. But it goes down hill when they say I'm not interested or they have relationships already. Them telling you that can get you heart broken and getting your heart broken means I have to drag my ass to where you are and help you get over shit like last time, When you assumed that peanut butter is good with tuna." Eren explained.

"Okay then I'll stop assuming." Jean said holding his hands up in defence at the same time trying to rid of the memory he curiously paired peanut butter and tuna. It wasn't as delicious as he assumed it would be.

Shuddering, he shook his head and continued on eating his lunch.
