Kat's P.O.V.
"Time to get up, wake up, sweetie," Nikki was shaking me.
"I don't wanna go to school," I started crying.
"Aw, honey, don't cry," Nikki picked me up in his arms.
He wiped my tears.
"Baby girl, it's okay," he said.
"No! The other kids are mean," I cried.
"All kids are mean," he said.
We got ready and he calmed me down.
He dropped me off at school.
"Wait don't forget your lunch and give me a kiss," Nikki said.
I kissed him and he handed me my lunch.
"Don't forget you're going to see daddy Vinny in the hospital after school," he reminded me.
"Okay," I said.
"Bye, I love you," he smiled.
"I love you, too," I said, climbing out of his car.
"Hey look it's the kitty cat!" A group of kids chased after me on the playground.
"Leave me alone!" I cried, running away.
One kid threw a rock and hit my eyebrow.
"Owwie!" I yelled stopping and wiping blood away.
The rest of the kids caught me and ripped my shirt, jeans, pulled my hair, kicked, and punched me.
None of the teachers saw. They never do. But the kids have never beat me up before.
When they did see today they just wrote a note home. They thought since my uncles and dad are rockstars they don't care about me.
At lunchtime the kids stole my lunchbox, so I didn't get to eat.
Daddy Vinny said they called the school numerous times, but nothing ever changed.
I was called to the office when it was time for everyone to go home.
"Kat, do you know this man?" The secretary asked me.
"Uh, no," I said, backing away.
"I'm your daddy, and I'm here to take you home," he said, taking my hand.
I saw Mick and Nikki walk in to pick me up.
"Mick! Nikki!" I yelled freeing my hand and running to them.
"What are you doing here, Nate? And why did you have my neices hand?" Nikki growled, picking me up and shielding me from the man.
Mick took my backpack.
"Mr. Sixx, you know him?" The secretary asked.
"Yeah, and I also know he should be put in prison," Nikki said walking out.
The secretary tried to ask more questions but he ignored her.
"What happened to you, baby?" Mick asked.
I told them about the playground, how I got a rock thrown at me, my clothes ripped, and all the black, blue, and purple bruises on me.
"Oh, I'm supposed to give this to daddy Vinny," I said, handing the note to Nikki.
"These idiot teachers," Nikki growled, handing the note to Mick.
"Why do the teachers think you all aren't responsible?" I asked.
