Nikki's P.O.V.

Today was mine and Kat's birthday. We were born on the same day.

She's the youngest one in her grade because her previous school mixed up her birthday for Vince's, on February 8. They were already in December when they realised the mistake, so they just left her in that grade. She always complained how everyone was turning six and she wasn't yet.

She spent the night with me. She could finally be away from Vince. He insisted she and I have a party. So they were setting up. Kat and I weren't allowed to see. She didn't even know she was getting a party.

I woke up, accidentally rolling over her.

"Owww," she complained.

"I thought you were in your bed," I groaned.

"I was," she murmured, annoyed.

"Why aren't you there now?" I asked with the same tone.

"Because I missed you," she yawned. "And I had a nightmare."

I didn't say another word and I cuddled her to me.

A few minutes later I heard her softly snoring.

I woke up and she was still asleep. She looked even littler curled up against me.

I got up and got ready. I slipped into a pair of jeans, a Sex Pistols t-shirt, and a pair of converse. I did my hair and put on a little eyeliner.

She was still in her pajamas when I picked her up to carry her to Vince's. She weighed nothing. When I got to her house about seven minutes later she still wasn't getting any heavier.

I opened the door.

"Nikki-"

"Shhhhh!" I cut Vince off, and pointed at Kat.

Vince covered my eyes and led me to Kat's room.

"Is this necessary?" I whisper-yelled.

"Yes," He whispered back. "I'll knock when you two can come out. Will you please get her ready?"

"Okay," I sighed.

I set her in bed to sleep a little longer and I picked up her bass.

I played it for about thirty minutes, then woke her up.

I got her dressed and did her hair.

"Nikki, I want eyeliner too!" She yelled. "And what am I getting ready for?"

"Okay. We're just playing dress up," I smiled.

I put a small amount of eyeliner on her.

"There you go, doll. All purdied up now," I smiled.

"Thanks, Nikki," she giggled.

I played her bass and she played her guitar for about twenty more minutes until Vince knocked on the door.

I grabbed her hand and we walked out.

"Surprise Nikki and Kat!" Everyone yelled.

She gasped and I smiled down at her.

Gene, Paul, Eric Carr, Tommy Thayer, Sebastian, Rachel, Dave Sabo, Scotti Hill, and Rob Affuso were here. Although Tommy wasn't here yet.

Skid Row, Kiss, and Mötley Crüe were basically a family now because of the kids.

Kat ran over to Andy and Ryley.

"Really? Isn't she a bit young for eyeliner?" Paul smirked.

"Nah," I shrugged.
