Mick's P.O.V.
Kat was in her bedroom asleep.
I had brought her home from the hospital without waking her.
Vince was going to use the spare bedroom since Kat had a room at everyone else's houses.
She was like a daughter to everyone of us. We all loved her like she was and I think she loved us like we were her fathers.
I heard crying and I ran up the stairs.
"What's wrong, girlie?" I kneeled down to her level.
"I-I had a nightmare," she cried.
"Oh no what about?" I asked, carrying her to the living room.
"The man I saw at school killed daddy Vinny!" She exclaimed sobbing.
"Baby, daddy Vinny is gonna be fine. He's gonna be here tomorrow, okay?" I said rocking her in my arms.
"He-he is?" She sniffled.
"He is. Now, you wanna help me get daddy Vinny's room set up?" I smiled.
She nodded her head.
After it was all set up we went to bed. I let her sleep in my bed because she was still scared of her room.
"You have to sleep in your own room eventually," I told her.
"But its scary," she said.
"It's never been scary before," I said.
"It is now. The monster is there!" she said, looking up at me with big brown eyes.
"I'll make the monster leave tomorrow. Just go to sleep," I said tucking her in.
"Okay, just shut your door so the monster doesn't get in here," she said worried.
"No monsters are getting in here tonight, princess," I smiled, getting up and closing the door.
"And the bathroom door?" She asked in a small voice.
"Already shut. Goodnight, Kitten," I said, kissing her forehead.
"Goodnight, Uncle Mick," she yawned, then kissed my cheek.
Vince's P.O.V.
Tommy picked me up from the hospital and dropped me off at Mick's.
"Hey, Vince, Tommy," Mick said exhausted.
"What's wrong? Was Kat difficult?" I asked worried.
"Not really, but seeing Nate really shook her up," he said. "She tossed and turned all night."
Tommy rolled his eyes and muttered something about psycho stalkers.
"Did she have a nightmare?" I asked.
"Yeah. She came running out of her room crying. I carried her to the living room, and asked her what was wrong. She said that Nate had killed you. I assured her you were coming home today. That seemed to calm her down. Then she about broke into tears again saying there was a monster in her room. She made me close the door and bathroom door in my room so no monster got in there," he explained.
"Wow, you had a fun night," I chuckled.
He jokingly glared at me.
"Go to sleep when she takes her nap," Tommy said. "Vince and I'll watch her while you nap."
"No it's fine," Mick said stifling a yawn.
"You really need to get some sleep," I said.
"Fine. I'll go up and get her," Mick said.
