Third POV
The famous Azaria lied out cold in the white infirmary bed, her h/c messy around her head. Her friends were all around her not expressing their emotions out loud. Worried about Shad more than her.
"Do you think that Lylia remembers her?" Garroth spoke up, breaking the tension between everyone.
"It's hard to tell. I mean... she's only two now," Aphmau claimed looking at Y/n.
"That's right," Garroth looked away from everything to the window peeking out to the village of BrightPort. "Who's looking after her?"
"Kawaii~Chan is. She was the closest to children and was willing to help her grow," Aphmau explained to Garroth.
"The real question is how she'll react without Laurance," Katelyn spoke up holding Y/n's left hand. Revealing them the golden ring on her finger.
"Aphmau!"
Leona came running in after the little girls of Aphmau's. Lilith and Alina circled around her mother, then plops to the ground.
"Mommy!"
"Hey girls," Aphmau smiles down at her children that her hugging her legs.
"Sorry Aphmau. These girls are a hand full," Leona took a deep breath in and exhaled well wiping the fake sweat on her forehead.
"Oh, do I need to find a new babysitter?" Aphmau smirked with a soft giggle.
"No! No! No! I love them so much! I would give up anything for them," Leona role back her old words.
"Mhmm... no..."
Everyone heads turned to the unconscious girl, even the little ones trying to see her. She was turning her head slowly to each side, you could see behind her eye lids that her eye balls were moving.
"Y/n, it's me. Katelyn..." Katelyn stood up looking at her closest friend.
Y/n's eyes shot open, her breathing started heavily breathing. Eyes pacing back and forth, she quickly lifted herself as if she was possessed.
"Y/n!" Garroth shouted coming her her side grabbing her other hand.
Y/n's eyes flashed from a red to her normal e/c, her breathing as slowly coming to normal.
Y/n's dark side that was usually active in the nether, more so than her light side. Now with the balance changing with Shad in their world, she has to adapt to the change.
"I'm sorry..."
Y/n looked down at her lap taking her hands there, everyone's direction was on her. She could feel their eyes.
"If I could just control it, then I could do it. I could have brought Laurence home..." she whispered as her eyes watered.
"It's okay, Y/n. He will come home..." Aphmau spoke softly.
Y/n turned the golden ring on her left hand. "I know he will. We will go back, when everything in our world is alright."
She looked to Aphmau, Aphmau immediately knew what she talking about. Shad, Zane, but Aph had a hunch Y/n knew about Alina having Shad's shard.
"How long did they say I've had to be here?" Y/n's voice went to her sweet normal voice.
"At least three days-"
Y/n quickly started getting out of her bed, as Garroth started pulling her back. He failed, "I am not staying in this room for that long."
"You need your rest. We all saw what happen..."
