Your POV

I dip my brush into my paint bucket, brushing over the wood to cover it with a light grey color. I wanted the color to be neutral in the main area, nothing too big or bright.

I was on my last side of the wall with about half to finish. Abby was here helping me for a bit, then she had to go check on Malachi.

I swear those two have a thing for each other. It would be sweet to see her with someone and not so focused on work.

"Thinking of work... I need to get a job."

I'll see around for jobs to help others, I do have a lot of talents. That will get me somewhere.

My brush goes back into the bucket of paint and onto the wall. Painting gives you a lot of time to think.

My thoughts were about my family. And how I will get all of them together.

I know my routes through the Nether, but I will mostly have to be sneaky. But Shad will notice my power from the time I enter the portal.

If he returned to the Nether.

I can easily take on Gene if I let Azaria take over. But, that is risky because I don't know what I will do.

I've only had Azaria take over once in the Nether. That is when I returned with Gene, and Shad injured me so much I was out for days. He forced me to let Azura take me over.

Draining Azura's power didn't do what he thought it would do. Make me weak.

No, I made Azaria stronger powerful. Angrier.

"Why do I have to have Azura's power?" I comment dipping my brush back into the bucket.

"I don't know the answer to that, Lady Y/n."

I jump to my feet holding my brush out as a weapon. Paint spat all over the guard's armor, Liochant. I drop the brush into the bucket quickly looking for cloth. "I am so sorry, I didn't know you were coming here."

I run some water over the cloth and hand it out to him. "It's fine. I should have knocked."

'Yes, you should have.'
'No, he's a friend.'

"It's okay." He takes the cloth and began cleaning up his armor. "So, why are you here really?"

He scrubs the last bit of paint drips before they dry, "Lady Aphmau and Lady Abby want to see you. They say it has to do with the Nether."

'I knew this was going to happen soon.'

"Thank you," I smile softly at him. "I'll change before I head off to see them."

"Alright, Lady Y/n."

I made my way upstairs scavaging threw my remaining clothing. I haven't got anything since I was last in this world. 'I hope I still fit in all of it...'

"Sorry, I am still not used to planning stuff like this," I admit scratching my neck walking into Aphmau's home. Abby and Aphmau stood around her dining table, directing her eyes back to me.

"It is alright, Mom. We are getting used to having you back to," adds Abby gesturing me to them.

I come up to them looking down at the table seeing a blank piece of paper, an ink pen, and books. Wondering what they wanted me to do. Confess everything that happened in there. Any information on Shad? Or write to my will?

"No one knows the Nether like you. We need a route to get back in. With Zane out and Vylad in Tu' La, we have no one," Aphmau explains pointing at the paper.

"What about that guy? Vincent? Was it?"

"He refuses to go back there."

I sit down on the chair beside me examining the paper. In my head, mapping out all the locations that most affect us. Without knowing the location of their portal, I can't pinpoint the best route. Or the safest one.

Picking up the pen, "Do you remember anything on where the portal is once you enter, Aphmau?"

"It is in this cave... There are lights along the wall... It was a few minutes' walks from the portal to your base," Aphmau recalls the most important detail.

I nod my head and I began to draw the map. My drawing skills aren't the best, but remember things is what I am good at. It is one of the perks having Azaria's power. Not many perks anyway.

I draw my base, "You have an idea of getting Laurance?"

"We don't know much... That is why it's great your here," Abby cheers patting my shoulder.

"We can't do this without you..."

"You're right," I say hearing gasps behind me. "Laurance isn't stable. Ever since we have arrived. It is difficult to calm him down, without proper knowledge of what is happening. Zenix always relied on me for it, now it is just those two."

I spun my golden ring on my left hand with my thumb. The thought of him in pain scares me to death. I consistently relied on my powers to help him, to help everyone with the rebellion.

"It is worse than what you saw the minutes you were in there. The nightmares that happen daily make you seem you're insane, it drives some people insane. To put the point of restringing them. You develop a hunger the longer your in there, that is what Laurance goes through. Just remind them of the best moments and things in their life. Then they become normal again."

"Mom?"

"Yes?"

"Did you ever develop hunger?"

"I consistently am. I fight two battles since I have had this," I hold out my hand looking at it creating two people dancing. One pure white and one pitch black. "Azaria The Change. A devil form and an angel form. At a consent battle for freedom from each other. One never able to like each other."

I wave my left hand and watch them disappear into thin air, "It is a battle you can never win until death."
