Y/n POV

I stood tall in the tower guarding the area around our base. I refused to lose anymore of the people that I care about, no matter what world I live in.

"Y/n!"

I shot my head around looking at the male shadow knight caring his blood red sword. "There has been movement around our base."

"Did you tell Laurance?" I asked stepping closer to the exit.

"Yes. He has sent me to go get you."

"Okay. Tell the others to keep on their toes, we might have seekers..."

"Yes."

I carried my feet to the top of our rebellion base. With the ally behind me, on edge.

I worry that one of our rebellion people would leave us, or kill us.

"Laurance," I spoke softly as I came closer to him.

His head turned to me, grabbing my hand. "Stay safe."

I felt my skin go cold after his words, he hasn't said that sense. We left her.

Shaking my head, I noticed Laurance's hand wasn't in mine anymore.

The sound of swords clashing came from below. Before even thinking, I jumping down.

I saw the one person I wished that never became a shadow knight. "Zane."

I sprinted passed Laurance as he viewed something, our weapons touching. "Wow, just like your pathetic boyfriend. Thinking before anything."

"Fiancé."

Zane stepped back lowering his weapon, releasing a new emotion I haven't felt in ages. Happiness.

"What are you doing here?" Laurance spat.

"Aphmau... Garroth... Katelyn..."

My grip loosen on my weapon, dropping to the ground. In the years I've been here, every time I leave. There is always something new with the people I love.

"We came here looking for you two! For all these years I thought-" Aphmau shouted as a tear left her eye. "Seriously... the great Aphmau herself came to see me."

Laurance spat, I tried reaching for his hand. As it pulled away from me.

"Not now..."

A small tear left my eye, as I stepped back away from him. "Laurance please... calm down..."

"I am calm!"

"Laurance we've been worried about you. Y/n too. What about-"

"We have been looking everywhere for you," Katelyn commented on Garroth's words.

"Please come back with us..." Aphmau cried out.

"Why should-

"Layla, Laurance. Layla..." I spilled looking up to him.

His light brown hair, his red eyes, "She misses us. I know she does!"

He walked slowly to me and kissed my lips softly. "I know she does too. Which is why your going with them."

"What- ah!"

I dropped to the ground screaming in my head, not letting a word get out of me. "He's..."

"You guys got to go now!"

Third POV

Katelyn and Aphmau fell down the side landing on their butts. "Laurance what was that for!?"
