I got into my dress Cadenza made for me. It was honestly beautiful. She did amazing on all the details. For today.
Today, was the day I sing in front of everyone here. To be honest I did know how to feel. I kinda felt empty.
Like if something is going to change. Like big. Like life is going to be completely different from now.
"You look beautiful," I turned to see Katlyen there in her armor still.
"You're not going to be the only one saying that," I looked myself in the mirror.
"What is the matter?" She asked.
"I don't know really," I looked at myself.
"Is it because you are scared to go on stage and sing to everyone?"
"No. It's like if from this day, everyone, everything, is going to be different,"
She put her hand on my shoulder, "Today will be different. To everyone. Your brother, Aphmau, Laurance, and everyone here. Today is the celebration of you being back from the fight you had. You saved Garroth parents! His father is the Lord of
O' Kaisai! You could get anything!"
"Yeah... but, they were also my adopted parents. Mostly the people that toke me and cared for me when I couldn't take care of myself,"
"Let's not get too deep into the past. You have a future, a big future," Katelyn said.
"You making a sound like I'm getting married," I giggled at the thought of me getting married.
"Hehe.."
The door opened up.
"Y/n! That dress looks so good on you!" Aphmau yelled.
"Thank you," I said nicely to show I wasn't down.
"It is time for you to come," she smiled brightly at me.
As I walked out there it reminded me of my childhood,
Flashback
I was walking down the stone path wearing leather amour. I was walking up to my father. He was the Lord of Falconclaw.
I got to come to my father and got down on one knee.
"Y/n, my daughter of Falconclaw," my father said.
Everyone was there watching me. Even Aaron, my brother.
"I now knight you to make you a guard at Falconclaw," he lightly tapped my shoulders with his sword.
Back to Reality
"Y/n! Y/n!" Someone shouted.
I shook my head. I looked up to see Aaron there.
"Are you ok?" he asked.
"Yeah, just some flashbacks,"
"Good ones?"
"Yeah,"
"Good. Now let's get going. It's a big-time for you," he smiled.
