"Sebastian, you can't be serious!" Madam Red yelled as she followed Sebastian around his study. He wasn't looking at her like he usually does, instead, his eyes were glued on to his paperwork. Which Madam Red didn't like at all, she almost hated it.
"I am," he mumbled as he looked for the rest of the papers to his report. Madam Red clenched her fist until her knuckles turned whiter than her skin. Sebastian noticed this and sighed, he never liked to piss her off. After all, she helped him with the kids but that, of course, doesn't excuse her attitude from last night.
"Fine," she was ready to storm out of his study with tears of anger, Sebastian grabbed her wrist as he pulled her back. Her body bumped into his, causing her to blush.
"As much as I appreciate your hard work, I'm still very disappointed in your actions of last night," Madam Red's smile went away when she heard the word disappointed. That wasn't her intention but she couldn't control herself. "Which is why we need to be away from each other for a while," Sebastian released his grasp as he began to walk back to his desk.
"I promise I'll do better! I won't even snap at your sister-in-law again!" Madam Red begged, in the end, her begging didn't work. Sebastian was serious about his decision after all he believed it was for the best. "You can't separate me from those kids, they need me!" Sebastian shook his head, Madam Red kneeled down begging even more.
"Please, don't make this harder for yourself," Madam Red sighed as she stood up and began to leave his office. She felt horrible as she walked down the stairs while doing that she looked at the paintings on the wall. A growl escaped from her lips as she stared into the (c) eyes that belonged to (N). If she could, she'd destroy that painting for good. Alas, she couldn't at least not yet.
"You're leaving already?" Luciel asked as he looked at Madam Red with tears in his eyes. She was mad at first since he carried (N)'s eye color but soften her look when she realized that it wasn't his fault.
"Yes, just for a while," Madam Red spoke softly as she walked up to the boy. She didn't want to see the poor boy crying, so she tried her best to make him smile. Of course, the news was still hard for him since he had more of a connection with her. She was his best friend, well his second best friend.
"Why? Do you not like us?" Luciel questioned her, Madam red laughed as she shook her head.
"Of course not," this made the little boy want to cry, "I love you!" She hugged him causing the boy to laugh.
"My Lord," A servant came in, interrupting the beautiful moment they were sharing. Madam Red looked annoyed as she saw the maid. "Your father is calling you," Luciel nodded his head as he said his goodbyes. Madam Red smiled as she waved goodbye until he was out of her sight.
The smile she had faded away as she gave the maid a glare, she walked up to her. "Don't think that just because I'm gone you'll have Sebastian to yourself, he pertains to me only," the maid rolled her eyes. "Now, go off." Madam Red sneered as the maid didn't feel like saying a snarky remark.
"Shouldn't you be leaving?" Madam Red turned around to see Angelica standing at the bottom of the stairs. She held a doll, one that Madam Red despised. She mostly despised anything that reminded them of (N).
"I will be soon!" Madam Red forced a smile as she tried to hug the little girl, "I just had to say goodbye to my little girl!" Angelica swayed away, Madam Red's eyes widen as she faced the little girl.
"Don't touch me, I know how much you hate my mother," Angelica began to walk up the stairs, not looking back at her. This broke Madam Red's heart as she watched the young girl leave.
