Woken up by the sound of messages on an early Saturday morning where there were no classes. I had planned to sleep in the entire day since I'd read manga and played games the entire night.

'Who dares to wake me up on my wonderful weekend?' I grunt and trying to open one of my eyes to check my phone.

'Huh? Jae? What?'

Morning, girl. 🤪
We're gonna have a band
practice later.
Wanna come? The members

You've interrupted my sleep in

I'll buy you breakfast.

I'd quickly got up from bed to shower and brush my teeth. I get bribed so easily by food. Sometimes I wondered if in the future, people would make me do something illegal by bribing me with McDonald's.

I took out a black hoodie and a pair of jean shorts. Tied up my hair into a small bun. 'Should I put makeup on? Nah. Lip gloss will do.' Too lazy to put makeup on as I thought to myself.

==Inside the cafe==

Jae was sitting at the corner of the cafe, he saw me at the door and waved to me to let me know that he was sitting there. I'd waved back and sat in front of him.

"You look different today." Said Jae while he keeps staring at my face.

"Oh, I was too lazy to put on makeup."

"You look prettier without makeup."

"Ermm... Thanks..." I felt some heat on my cheeks and tried to pretend it was nothing.

"Alright. I'll go and order your pancakes and bacons. Princess." Jae said as he got up.

"Thank you. Kind peasant." I jokingly said it.

"Hey." Jae raised his eyebrows and left to order my food.

'Wow. What was that? Why is my heart pounding so fast when he complimented me?' Thought to myself as I tried to keep calm.

"Here's your pancakes." The waiter placed the food in front of me. "Thank you." I'd thanked the waiter.

"Lezz dig in." Jae said and winked at me. It made my blood pressure went up again but Jae didn't noticed as he eats his sandwich and looking at his phone.

==Music Clubroom==

Jae opened the door and I'd followed behind him. Jae greeted his members, "Hey guys, so... this is your one and only Yeo Reum."

"Umm... Hi. Everyone." I smiled and waved my hand a bit. I was kinda awkward and shy.

Jae started to introduce each of them to me, "Here, we got Brian."

"Hey, it's Young K."

Jae ignored him and continued, "This is Bob the Builder, Bob, and Bob."

"What kind of introduction is this?" I looked at him, giggled with my hand covering my face.

"Hi. I'm SungJin." he reached his hand for a handshake. I said hi and shook his hand.

"This is Dowoon, WonPil." SungJin said and introduced them to me.

"And I'm Young K. Don't call me Brian. I prefer Young K." Young K said and back at Jae.

"No. You're Brian." said Jae, teasing poor Young K.

"Stop it." said Young K while he was slightly annoyed. The members laughed on how hilarious their argument is.

"Hey, Yeo Reum ah, what instrument do you play?" SungJin asked.

"Oh. I don't play instruments but I wished to learn how to play a guitar."

"You can ask Jae to teach you how. He's a pro at it."

"Alright."

"Wanna hear our new song we just wrote? We're gonna practise on it." WonPil asked excitedly.

"Sure. I would love to hear it."

Jae and the others set up and prepare their guitars, drums, keyboard and mics.

They started playing the instruments and Jae sings first. His voice was so mesmerising and beautiful. He looked so focus on singing then he shifted his gaze at me. It was like the first time when I heard him singing at the orientation.

After the song finished, they asked me how was it. I gave them a double thumbs up and said it was awesome.

We chatted more on the songs and get to know more about each other but it was already late. We said our goodbyes to the guys then Jae offered to send me back.

We were walking our way back to my dorm. "What do you think about my performance?" Jae asked.

"I'm quite surprised. You look incredibly cool and your singing is damn amazing."

"Haha. Yeah. Compliment me more." Jae smiling from ear to ear, looked so happy like a child.

"Nope. That's enough. Don't wanna get you too big headed." I teased him.

We reached my dorm then turned facing each other.

"Alright. The princess is back safe and sound. Hope you had a great time today."

"I did. Thanks for today. Goodnight."

"Nighty."

Jae watched me walk to the door. I looked at him, gave him a smile and waved goodbye.

He waved back and left.
