I ran over to (Y/N)'s side. Her still laying on the ground, she gave a weak smile and closed her eyes.
A tear ran down my cheek as I watched her. Emmet and his friends came running over. I collapsed to my knees, crying my eyes out.
¨I-It can't end like this...¨ I muttered.
Emmet put a hand on my shoulder and said something, though I couldn't understand what he said over my sobbing.
-Readers POV-
You opened your eyes to find yourself laying among the clouds. You thought, ¨Is this heaven?¨ That's when you seen some people walking towards you. You stood up, filled with fear.
That is when you noticed that they were smiling and held no weapons. In fact they were fully fledged angels as well.
The other female angel said gently, ¨Welcome back (Y/N). I see you have used up all of your energy to defeat your brother.¨ Then another female spoke, ¨Now we will give you a choice, either stay here or go back to earth.¨
You, without any hesatation, said pleadingly, ¨I would like to to earth. My beloved must be missing me so much!¨
The angels smiled and nodded. You closed your eyes and prepared to go back to earth.
-Bad cops POV-
I was still crying over her body when i felt a warm hand on my cheek. I opened my eyes to see her, my beloved wife that I thought I lost for good, smiling right at me.
