I was still crying over her body when I felt a warm hand on my cheek. I opened my eyes to see her, my beloved wife that I thought I lost for good, smiling right at me.
She wiped away a tear and said gently, ¨Hey, I'm here, and that is what matters.¨
Then, what surprised me, she giggled. I asked, concerned, ¨Why are you laughing? You do realize that I almost lost you!¨ Thats when she smiled at me and said, ¨Remember when I convinced you that we should adopt a child?¨
¨Darn, darn darn, DARNY DARN!¨ I had totally forgotten about that. I looked away, sighed and asked, ¨Can I at least throw a coming back party for you?¨
-Readers POV-
You giggled at that. ¨I think that's good. Afterwards we WILL adopt a kid.¨ You said, jokingly. He smiled at that.
Then it hit you, you have just changed his life forever when you and him met, not to mention he changed yours.
To be honest he has never acted like this to anyone else.
