"Wallahi kimana shiru before i lay my hands on you, are you the only person here? Don't you know you are the peace of other people and ours too? Wallahi ki kiyayeni! This is not your father's house!"
An officer threatened
"Officer dan Allah kataimakani, take me out of this place please😭" i begged him
"Who asked you to cause trouble, ku yayan masu kudinnan kun iya iskanci but you cannot endure wahala, you shall roast there" he hissed and left

it was past eleven and everywhere is silent, meaning everyone is asleep....
"Yaya" i tapped him knowing he's not asleep
He hummed and turned facing me
"Ya akayi?" He asked as he adjust
"Is it possible to regain your lost soul?" I asked
"Lost soul kuma? Banganeba" he replied
I stay silent
"The fact that i am heartless, the fact that i am not me anymore, i feel as if i am sleeping"
I held his hands into mine
"Yaya i need to fully be awakened"
He stays silent
"Baby, you are not heartless, you just did what is right, the fact that you handed her to the law, that doesn't make you heartless" he said

The doorbell rings
"Who might it be this late?" I asked him
"We won't know if we didn't check" he answered getting up
"But yaya what if it is robbers or something bad, please don't go" i pleaded reaching his hands
"Baby! Robbers or anything bad will not knock, allow me pls" he said
"Lets go together" i said smiling at him
"Rigimatu" he said shaking his head
I put on my hijab and we walk to the door, opening it, revealing a woman
"Mum!" He said unbelievably
"What are you doing at my house at his hour of the day?" He asked still shocked
"You must be zainab's mother" i said to her
"How may i help you mum?" Yaya asked
"You must have lost your way" he said unbelievably
"You" she said fiercely pointing at me
"Me! What's with me?" I asked with a confused look
"You are all behind this, you snatched him awau from my daughter, and still bai isheki ba, you got my daughter arrested?!" He said fiercely approaching me with a deadly look
I widened my eyes and quickly hid at the back of yaya
"What are you doing mum?!" Yaya shouted
"Don't you dare touch my wife mum, and please you have over stayed your welcome, thank you and goodnight" he said closing the door
"Wallahi indai ni yar halak ce you 2 will regret this, you will regret every bit of this, saina hanaku zaman lafiya a gidannan" she threatened before the door closes completely
"Yaya" i cried into his chest
"Shh, don't worry everything will be okay" he consoles me
"Yaya tell me those threats were empty" i said still crying
"Yes baby, kinsan anger can make you say anything" he said wiping my tears
After some few minutes of lallashi and bada baki
"You're too emotional for a doctor" he said laughing
"Yayaa!" I whined
We went back to our bedroom....
"But seriously yaya? Akace precaution is better than cure, why not mugayama ya kb tomorrow, this is his field"
"Uff Baby, ki kwanta please, we will talk about this gobe"
"Okay then"
