Splinter stared down Karai as she got into fighting stance. She was forcing him into a fight. But Splinter didn't have the energy— or the heart— to fight his own daughter. His world was crumbling. His daughter hated him again, April, who was like a daughter to him was chained up, and.... his sons. Leonardo and Raphael had escaped, but their energy was greatly depleted, Donatello was currently getting electrocuted for the one-thousandth time, and Michelangelo...... he didn't even want to think about him. His poor baby son. Why did this—

"Get up and fight, rat!" yelled Karai, yanking Splinter from his thoughts. He looked up to her with sad eyes and slowly got up. "I will not fight you, my daughter." he replied. "Don't call me that!" she snapped. " You killed my mother! And Shredder is my father, not you!" Then, she launched herself at him, attacking full force. Splinter dodged the attack and grabbed her hands. " Stop!" he commanded. "This is not you, Miwa." Karai hissed at him and turned into her snake form. "I'm not lisssstening to a word you ssssay!" She hissed. She backed up and got into fighting form again.

April had been silently watching from the sidelines and had secretly escaped her chains. She had plan. She slowly got up and walked behind Karai. She was shouting at Splinter and didn't even notice April raising her fist over her head. " Fight me!" Karai shouted. Splinter calmly stared at her. "I said, figh—" She was cut off by a loud thump. Karai collapsed to the floor and April stood behind her. "That should be good," she said, brushing off her hands. "Sensei, can you perform the healing mantra now that— Sensei? Are you alright?" He was staring at the cameras. April walked and looked too. She gasped. Leo, Raph, and Donnie were still where they were 2 minutes ago. However, the room that would have held Mikey, didn't. Instead, it was filled with a bright green liquid that was slowly draining out of the room. "Mutagen," April whispered.
