Chapter 17

Shawn's POV

"Why were you sleeping on that boys chest when I walked in?" Shit I thought she wouldn't question it.

"Umm he was just comforting me mom its no big de-"

"Save it Shawn. You have been acting differently and have been spending a lot of time with him. Then I walk in to you sleeping on him!" she yelled.

"Mom why are you getting so mad? Yell at me some other day just not today!" I yelled running back to my room. Why does this have to be so hard?

I picked up my phone and phoned Taylor. It went straight to voice mail. What the hell? I tried again and it did the same thing. Why won't he answer me?

I put down my phone and laid on my bed. I put my headphones in and listened to music pushing everything that has happened out of my head.

"Shawn?" My mom asked walking into my room. I guess she isn't letting this go.

"What?" I asked sitting up and taking the headphones off.

"Are you gay? And are you with Taylor?" Okay this can't be good shes using her serious voice. Do I tell her the truth or wait for Taylor so we can tell together? And just so theres a witness incase my mom kills me.

"No." I can't tell her. Just not right now it's not the right time to. I love Taylor and I want to tell her when we are together so she can see how happy he makes me.

"Okay. Sorry for jumping to conclusions." She said as she shut my door and went back downstairs. I put back in my headphones and went to sleep.

Taylor's POV

Shawn has tried to call me a few times but I can't bring myself to answer. He just lost his dad and I know that if I pick up I will end up telling him I made out with Dillon. I just can't tell him. Not yet.

Carter's POV

After asking Matt about his parents he wasn't himself. He didn't say a word threw out the movie and then after the movie he got up and went to his room. There has to be something more to this whole disowning thing.

I got up and went to Matt's room and nocked on the door.

"Matt babe whats wrong? Open the door." I said as I nocked.

A few seconds later I heard him get up and open the door. His eyes were red and tears were running down his cheeks. I didn't say anything, I just pulled him into a hug. He starting crying harder into my neck.

After his breath started getting slower I grabbed his hand and led him downstairs. I sat on the couch and pulled him down with me.

"Why were you crying?"

"I miss them so much Carter." He said, tears forming in his eyes.

"Why don't you call them? Maybe they were just mad."

"I can't. Carter you don't understand. They were so mad and the things they said to me to horrible. After they said everything I was mad at myself for this. I just wish they would let me come back." he told me. I feel so bad for him right now.

"What did they say?"

"Can we not talk about this please. he asked. I nodded my head and pulled him into a hug. I think I know what I have to do.

~Next day ~

Shawn's POV

Taylor hasn't answered any of my calls or texts. He has read them but responded. I decided I'm not going to try and call him anymore. I'm just going to go over there. He can't really ignore me then can he?

I grabbed my phone and got dressed. I walked down the stairs and out the door. I started walking over to Taylor's and when I got there I knocked on the door.

I waited for what seemed for ever and finally he answered. He didn't say anything and he didn't even look at me. What the hell is his problem?

"Why are you ignoring me? Did I do something wrong? You told me if I needed anything you would be here for me. I just lost my dad please don't start shutting me out to. Please Tay." I said.

"Shawn we need to talk." No not those words. I know exactly whats coming next. I lost my dad and now i'm about to loose the love of my life next.

"O-okay." I said as I followed him into the house and to the couch.

I sat down next to him and started bracing myself for whats coming next. I guess he could tell I was nervous because he grabbed my hand.

"Shawn i'm not braking up with you but after I tell you why I've been ignoring you, you will probably brake up with me."

"Tay just please tell me."

"I kissed Dillon..." I was shocked.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS! WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT? I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME AND WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HURT ME." I yelled starting to cry.

"Shawn I messed up and i'm sorry. I don't know why I did it, I guess it was just the heat of the moment but Shawn I do love you and I'm sorry." I can't believe he actually did this.

I got up off the couch and started walking to the door. I can't even look at him right now. I opened the door and started walking home. I ignored him yelling my name and just went home.

I got home and I couldn't hold it in anymore. I broke down in tears and slid down the wall. I pulled my knees up and put my head down. I sat there and cried until I felt a hand on my back. I looked up and saw it was my sister.

"Shawn what happened?" she asked as she sat down with me.

"You can't say anything to mom but i'm gay and Taylor cheated on me with Dillon." I said trying to calm down.

"Shawn i'm so sorry. It's his lost." I hugged her and went up to my room. This has been the worst 2 days of my life.

Carter's POV

I decided i'm going to get Matt and his parents back together. I need to he's so sad. I grabbed the phone book and looked up their names. I found there number and beside it had their address. I'm not going to call them because they can just hang up but if I go over there they won't have that choice.

I went up to Matt's room and told him I would be back later and for him to call me if he needed anything. I grabbed my phone and typed the address into the GPS on it and left to my car.

I started driving and when I got there I went and nocked on the door. after a little bit it opened.

"Hello?" A lady asked.

"Hi i'm Carter I need to talk to you about something important."
