Chapter 14

Matt's POV

Last night was the first night I slept alone since Carter. It was a horrible night. I didn't sleep at all. I didn't think I would miss him that much, especially after he kissed Taylor. I wonder if he misses me as well. Thats been the number one thing that has been on my mind. I have thought of calling him but if he doesn't miss me back I don't know if I could handle that. I just miss him so much.

Carter's POV

This is killing me! I know I said I was going to wait a few days to call him but I don't know if I could last another minute. I miss how he would snuggle into my chest every night and how he would always make me smile. I decided I wasn't going to call him or text him but just go over to his house so he can't just hang up or not reply.

I went upstairs and got dressed. I know he won't forgive me if I just show up at his house and say how sorry I am. I need to show him how much he means to me and that I made a huge mistake.

I got in my car and drive to a toy store. I know what you're thinking, why are you going into a toy store to show how much you love him? Well you see before I messed up I was waiting for the right time to give him a promise ring but then the thing happened and I didn't get the chance. So i'm going to this toy store because I saw one a really big stuffed dinosaur in the window and I know he likes dinosaurs. I was thinking putting the rings in the hand of the dinosaur and when I give it to him i'll tell him how much I love him and then tell him to find them on the dinosaur and hopefully he will forgive me.

I bought the dinosaur and put the rings in its hand and started driving to Matt's.

Matt's POV

I was laying on the couch like I have been for the last two days when I heard someone pull into my driveway. I didn't really want company but i'm not going to be rude.

Someone knocked and I just told them to come in thinking it would be Taylor or Shawn but it wasn't them. There standing in my door way was Carter. I didn't know what to do. Run up to him and hug him and let him explain or collapse and cry. Before I could anything he brought in this big ass dinosaur and started coming to me.

"Matthew Lee Espinosa I don't think there is enough words to describe how sorry I am. I messed up the most important thing I ever had and I don't know what I would do with out you. I have been a mess and it has only been two days since you left. I need you back by my side. I need you to be mine again. You make me so happy and I need you in my life. You are probably wondering why I brought in a dinosaur right? Well remember at the party when you were talking to me and you thought I wasn't listening? Well I was and I also how you said that your favourite thing are dinosaurs so I when I saw this it made me think of you. I don't expect you to forgive but please Matt I love you so much."

I couldn't hold it in anymore, I was crying so much at this moment and I couldn't just stand there. I ran into his arms and hugged him. He was crying to.

"I'm so sorry Matt." He said as he hugged me tighter. I pulled away and told him I forgave him. He then told me to look for something on the dinosaur. I was pretty confused but started searching the dino.

After searching for awhile I saw that one hand was shut and the other one was open. I grabbed the hand of the dinosaur and opened it. In the hand of the dinosaur was two rings. One said Together and the other one said Forever.

"Matt I wanted to give you this ring to show that for now on i'm only going to have eyes for you and no one else. I want you to know i'm going to be here forever. I'm not leaving you ever." he said as he took one of the rings and put it on my finger. I put the other one on his finger and I pulled him to me and kissed him. God I missed his lips.

Shawn's POV

I woke up wrapped in Taylor's arms still in the back of the truck. I tried to get up but he pulled me back down. I started laughing as I fell on tip of him.

"Come on Tay get up i'm hungry." I said trying to push his arms off me.

"Okay lets go." He said getting up and then pecking my lips.

We got into the truck and drive to a drive threw and ordered something to eat. We drove to his house and eat there.

"We should do that again soon." He said as he took a bite of his breakfast. I nodded and swallowed my food.

My phone started buzzing and saw it was a text from my mom.

'Shawn i need you to come home now your dad was in a car accident and i need to go to the hospital. You need to watch your sister.' I looked at my phone in shocked and then turned to Taylor.

"I need to go now." I said at the urge of tears.

"Shawn whats wrong?"

"I just need to go." I said as I grabbed! my shoes and ran out the door. I hope he's okay.
