Scenario 1 You had recently heard from the police that your best friend, after killing their spouse and running away with their two sons, had been found dead. The children were found as well but had become feral after years of living in the forest alone. The cops and mental hospital that had them were considering letting you keep them bit they were going to have you come meet them first.
