Scenario 1
You didn't know why you were here. Well, you knew, but you didn't know why they wouldn't just accept you. You stand in front of the entrance to a camp with your bags, you were staying here for a few weeks. You remember how this all started. You had finally gathered the courage to come out to (someone homophobic) and they were shocked to say the least. A few days later they said they were proud of you being brave enough to come out and wanted to take you somewhere nice to celebrate(alternatively they could just be a jerk about it). Once you were in the car and unable to get away, the confessed to you that you weren't going somewhere to celebrate. They told you about a camp, camp GayAway. It was a very good camp, known for 'fixing' boys who were corrupted by the gay. (Stay with me here) Now here you stood, watching them speak with the camp councilor, who smiled nonstop. A few other members of the camp had come out to greet you, all wearing camp GayAway t-shirts. "You won't have to worry one bit. All camp guest are supervised constantly, and our rehabilitation program is a guaranteed success. We've saved so many boys in the past, there isn't a doubt in my mind that we can save yours too." With that they were satisfied and they drove away. Once they were out of sight, the councilor sighed. "Alright, the coast is clear." The boys cheered, taking if their camp GayAway t-shirts and throwing the in the dirt, revealing shirts that said 'Gay is ok' or 'Gay pride' in rainbow letters. The councilor turned to you with a smile. "Before we begin orientation, I wanna let you know one thing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, and being gay is completely fine." He lead you into camp with the others. "Here at camp 'GayAway' our goal isn't to 'fix' gay boys, but actually to give them an environment where they can experiment, relax, and find out who they are in a judgment free zone. We don't want you to change who you are, unless it make you happy and is true to who you are."
