Reading some of her previous books, I knew what I would be expecting with her writing, but I was completely taken back. Her writing greatly improved, it flowed with the words, the feelings popping out at you with every paragraph. Even the greatest writer's needed practice, and it seemed Bookloverfath improved on her skills from the last time I read her books. There was suspense, intriguing storytelling, and the interactions between characters created a wonderful book of heartbreak, pain, and the struggles of this girl. The ending was what took me by surprise, however. In most books like these, if you read it you'll know, you usually don't end up with the shock that the epilogue ended with. I was surprised with the way it ended, and it was a great thing for this book. Throughout the story, you want these two to end up together, to make each other happy, to love and to hold through thick and thin, but I think the ending was much better for a reader to experience.  In books these days, it always ends with a cliche happy ending, but this one took it a different way and made the whole story incredible. I recommend this one fully.

Not many things make me anxious, but this book did. The first chapter starts at the number 10 and goes down from there. Every chapter was counting down to a conclusion, and I didn't know what would happen! I never tried to read a short story so fast in my life. It compelled me to read this girl's pain from bullying, life's problems, a boy that popped into her life, anything could have happened and every second counted in this book. I wanted a happy end for her, I was rooting for the relationship with every word, but the second you get to the end, you realize there was a little lesson. Life isn't just loving stories, Disney princesses, and best friends, there's always a bad side to life, and the realization you can make it through no matter what and still make a life worth living. Bookloverfath's book allows the reader to experience every bad thing in life through her characters, and though some we've seen before as readers, it brings in a light through the dark. Her ending alone would make this book incredible, but to experience it properly, I would love for the readers to try this book out themselves.

I'm usually not a font/format type of person, but a majority of this book was italicised. I wouldn't usually remark on this, but when you finish the book, you realize it was all for a reason. It's like the first 9-10 chapters were the past of this girl's memories and the writer is using this format to display it's not the present. When you get to the epilogue it makes a whole lot more sense and you realize there's more to this story than a love romance or a poor girl's struggle through life's problems. I and my fellow reviewers all remarked on that small detail, and it made us rethink what she was really conveying at first. When you read it the first time, it may not click straight away (Or maybe I'm just not grasping the concepts), but as you read, experience this girl's life with her best friend, you really see there's more than what's being written. I always heard the Ice glacier theory, where the writer knows more than they are showing, but I fully believe Bookloverfath is giving it all, we just have to notice them when we read. I will definitely be rereading it again and try to pick out every small detail. I love this book.
