Hello, everyone! So as you can see this week, instead of reviewing a story, we decided to answer some questions we always manage to have at some point. Whether it's about the book itself, the stories, the writers, or even about being an admin, so today we decided to answer them.
1. Can I become an admin?
YES, YOU CAN!! Actually, we love it even more if more people decided to join. We just recently had a new admin join the team, and it would be better for honest opinions if more people joined.
2. Do you have to fill anything out or is it free to become an admin?
It is 100% free to become an admin if you'd like. However, we do require you to read and review a book by every Tuesday if there is one to review.
3. Do you search out people for stories, or can we ask?
We have an admin that searches out books with very few reads and asks them to participate, but you can also ask and we will add you to a list to be reviewed.
4. Is this a joined account?
No, my account is a private account, but this is a book joined through messaging. Between me and the other admins, we message each other the reviews, questions, and other things needed for this book.
5. Who are the admins?
We now have four active admins. Me (KatherineLionheart), Sierra (DracoisaMuffin), Crissa (CrissaLovesToRead) and our new admin, Emma (MigaleFelis). You can find the other three if you go to my following.
6. Can all genres participate?
Yes! All genres are asked to join!
7. Are fanfictions considered for this?
Of course! Fanfictions probably has the most in its category, and if we didn't review them we'd lose most of Wattpad to review! So please, if you have a fanfic and you want to be reviewed, PM one of us!
8. How do I see the actual stories you've reviewed?
I usually dedicate the chapter to the writer, so you can click their profile name above each chapter.
9. Do you plan to keep this book for long?
As long as people want this to continue, we'll keep going.
10. When do you update?
Every Wednesday.
11. Why can't I see the chapters you've updated?
If you can't see the chapters, you might have to follow me and refresh the story, or get out of Wattpad and reload it again. Honestly, I'm not sure why this is happening, but we'll figure it out.
12. How do you choose who's next in line to be reviewed?
Most of the time we go through on a list. Whoever's next get's next week's spotlight.
13. Why do you focus more on the writing than the story/plot?
Plots can a sell a story, but writing will make you live it. You can have the best plot in the world, but your writing, depending on your level, can make or break a story.
14. Are your opinions honest?
We try to be.
15. Do you care if you hurt people's feelings?
Honestly, yes and no. I feel guilty for hurting people's feelings, but some of you are willingly coming in to be reviewed. However, we try to be honest and nice at the same time. We try not to point out just the flaws, but also what makes the story good. It's a 50/50 thing when reading some books.
16. Are lemons/smut allowed?
If it's a oneshot, no. However, if it's like Fifty Shades of Grey and it has sex in it, we will read them and review them. We will just add MATURE to the top and see how that goes.
17. Who exactly are you?
Death. Just kidding. My name is actually Nancy, but many people call me Kitty and Katherine (Long Story). I'm a fellow writer here on Wattpad.
18. What genre's do you usually like to read for this book?
Any genre. If the story is good, we'll read them.
19. How did this idea come to your head?
I was looking up the tag new, and I saw many books that reviewed either writers, or books, but I never saw one with both. I actually think I was more inspired by Harry Potter fanfictions reviews than anything. So one day, I asked my friends if they would like to join me on something like this, and we've been doing it ever since.
20. Can I enter in more than one story?
Yep, as long as you write them, we'll review as much as you want. However, the second time around we'll not post your writers review since you would have previously done it.
So those are just a few questions we've received, and we answered them! We might do another because we still have more to answer, but we'll see how things go.
